Hello to our FChat friends, I just want to tell you about ItalianCarFest 2012 and invite you to show your great cars - this is our 9th year! The FCA and FerrariChat have been passionate supporters of our show and we really appreciate it! Thank you!! You will definite want to be there and see a new, exciting class that we have created - the Italian Connection, featuring cars that have Italian heritage. How about a 1982 Rolls Royce Camargue, body by Pininfarina - or a 1965 Innocenti S Spider, mounted on an Austin Healey Sprite chassis? We have both! Or a 1964 Triumph TR4 (yes - a Triumph!), body by Michelotti and a 1980 BMW M1, body by Giugiaro - we have these registered, too! The display will be wonderful and unique with informative signs describing the Italian Connection. Of course, we always have our delicious Italian sandwiches available for purchase; this year we will have beer available, too. Our beautiful, custom made glass awards will be presented to the Best of Class winners. You can register now at http://iccsw.com/zencart/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=5. Our entry fee remains at $35. We look forward to seeing old friends and making some new ones at this year's show. The show is Saturday, Sept 8, from 10 to 4pm at Nash Farm in Grapevine. Our show site opens at 7:30 for earlybirds - join us for coffee and pastries as you watch cars enter the show field. All the details can be found at www.ItalianCarFest.org. Don't hesitate contacting me directly with any questions. We look forward to seeing you on September 8!! Bob Dezzany 214-668-2382
This is a must-attend event. There are lots of rare and fantastic cars there each year. I know that the past two years that I've gone, I was blown away by cars such as a Dino 206S, Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari 330 GT 2+2, and many many others.
+1000000000000000000000000000000 This is a great event that I enjoyed last year. This is on the calendar for sure
This is an outstanding event. I have also been the last two years and look forward to it each time. Keeps the fire burning for that 328.
Hi Bob - very glad to hear that you were able to get that Rolls-Royce Camargue registered! I am planning to attend with the Testarossa, so we will get registered this week.
Always well run and well attended. I may bring (just) a 328, but I always get the full charge from the occasion. Thanks Bob for reminding us. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not in those, but that reminds me - Dang, I need to get some tan on my legs. BAAAAAAD ! ! ! Weather might not even be so blistering this year.
Gee, this year flew by fast. I kind of feel like the last ICF was only 6 months ago. Guess I'll have to make plans to attend
Yes, we do have a few interesting cars such as: a 1970 365 GT 2+2; a 2002 575M and a 1986 Testarossa. Our Italian Connection (IC) class has ten cars that will surprise a few people as to their Italian origins. Signage will be abundant describing designers and the special cars in the IC class. Registration closes Tuesday, Sept 4, so if you are planning to join us, please consider registering now!! F-Chat is an incredible supporter of ItalianCarFest and we always thank you for it - it is sincerely appreciated. See you next Saturday! Bob Dezzany ItalianCarFest
I was very pleased to see that in the Saturday DMN Automotive section Terry Box included a picture of my 512M along with a description of ItalianCarFest. This is the second time he has shown a photo of this car. I will have it at ICF this year. Thanks Bob for the planning and all of the hard work you and your staff do to execute this great show!
Last year was my first event with the new (to me) Ferrari. Can't believe it's been a year already. This is a great event and looking forward to cooler weather this year. See you Saturday.
The ICF homepage has a list with most of the entrants for this years show. I noticed that when I was scrolling through Facebook earlier. Pretty nice list... http://www.italiancarfest.org/
Bump I'm excited for the event. I hope to see some great cars Weather looks nice Image Unavailable, Please Login
Absolutely fantastic show today. Lots of great cars. The highlight for me was a tie between the red Diablo SE30 and AJ's 365. Both stunning cars. And the cooler weather made things more enjoyable.
Great to see everyone & sorry I could stay longer. You really couldn't ask for better weather for this event. Here's some of the Ferrari photos, enjoy. Bob - Great show and the weather could not have been better. Thanks to you and the ICF! Will - Nice shots...
Nah, everyone knows that Ferraris are supposed to be red... I really like that red RR. Diablo SE-30? Hate I missed it, took the kids to DWA instead.
