I have a 348 TS and want to put 360 wheels on it. Does anyone know if I need spacers or adapters? I have been told I need different size lugs. Does anyone know the sizes? I have called three Ferrari dealers who all told me this could not be done but I have seen pictures all over the internet. Any info would be greatly appreciated...

I don't recall the answerbut the most recent thread was a couple of months ago

Try putting ' 348 360 wheels' into the search box at the top

    Good Day,
I believe the answer is YES. I put 360 wheels on my old 87 Mondial. No spacers required. Yes, new lugs were needed. Mondial and 348 are very similar mechanically. I also put 360 rims on my 355, without spacers, with new lugs.

I have 360 wheels on my -93 348TS, no problem what so ever (other than it feels a lot more stable on the road and looks better ;)).
However doing a new wheel alignment is probably a good thing to do...

Having just read another post down in the 348/355 forum, I'm sure many will disagree with my prior (now deleted) post and interpret it as self-servering commercialism.

Use 55mm bolts if you like. The specs however, indicate the proper size is 52mm.

348Jeff- Love the look of the 348 with those wheels! What size tires are you running? I was told to put 225/40/18 in the front and 275/40/18 in the rear. What do you guys recommend?

I installed the 360 optional modular wheels on my 348. The rear wheel is out further than stock but I like it that way. It is where the stock wheels would be with spacers. More stable at high speeds as well. The front wheels are out a bit further as well. ;)

Yes -- 52mm all around is the correct length for using 360 (or F355) wheels on the 348. One thing to keep in mind is that some folks, depending on tire choice (and shoulder/sidewall design) feel like the 360 rear wheels extend too far from the arches. Some Fchatters have chosen to machine a few mm from the mounting face of their rear wheels. If you choose this route, then quite possibly you'd require a wheel bolt < 52mm.

Thanks PAP!! One of my main goals in life is to please the mighty PAP! :D :D When I went with these wheels, one of the things I was trying to accomplish was to show off my yellow powder coated brake calipers. ;) FYI, I installed the wheels using 52 mm lug bolts as recommended by Daniel at Ricambi. I did not want to take any chances on the ends of the bolts making contact with the parking brake mechanism on the rear wheels.

I just did a double take and realized that was your car :) The F355 scoops and the 360 modulars (love them!) had my brain all in a kerfluffle.

Repeat after me: That car is stunning.

Me thinks I miss mine now.

Thanks for the pics and info. All stunning cars, I love the 348! I bought a set of 360 wheels on ebay Saturday and cannot wait to put them on. Still not sure what tire size will be best? The wheels have 215/45/18 and 275/40/18 on them with about 50% tread left. Jeffs 348 looks great with them! I do not think I will mind them sticking out a little in the rear. Todd I love the Modular wheels... What size tires are you running?

Ha ha!! :D You are not the first person to take a double take to realize what the car is. ;) I had to make some custom mounts for the 355 door intakes. But I can still easily swap out the 355 door panels for the 348 panels if I desire it. :p I also installed the Lemans grill on the back. I covered the grill in a carbon fiber wrap for an extra touch. ;) This pic also shows a better view of how the wheels fit well with the bodyline.

Hello Mark, when I got the wheels, they had nearly brand new P-Zeros on them. The fronts are 215/45-18's and the rears are 275/40-18's. The rear tires are a bit taller than I would like due to the speedo issue but I decided to go ahead and run them until they are done. ;) I just have to remember that the speedo is slightly under the correct speed. I need to go with a 265/40 or a 275/35 to get closer to the correct OD.

Yes, that looks like the 52 mm lug bolts. My stock bolts were 55 mm. So I ordered a set of 52 mm lug bolts.
