How cheap are we talking from waytekwire? I have purchased those Bosch relays online for $7 or $8 with free shipping.

355 Spider hydraulic reservoir for the top. $623 from Ferrari. $57.24 from Audi

    Part number: 8G0 898 101
Available from SunsetPorsche. Luke is the parts guy I usually talk to 800.346.0182 who quoted me the $57.24 price. (I have no affiliation with these guys, other than that I've been ordering Porsche parts from them for a long time)

It comes as a complete kit, just like the one in the yellow box. Includes the O-ring and new torx screws with loctite on them.

I did need to peel the sticker off and rotate it 45 degrees.

I installed it tonight. It is in every way, identical to the original (once you rotate the sticker)

I can't recall what they are off but they are common to something much cheaper.
I had one and it cost £230 fitted (needed to reuse the Ferrari clutch but the rest was a straight bolt in).

Have a dig around bt don't pay Ferrari prices.

    Throttle position sensor Bosch part# 0280122044 (Ferrari part# 142434), same as found on a 1996 Saab 900 (non-tubro) 2.3liter 4 cylinder.

Cost me $125 each, but I have seen them for sale on Amazon and Rockauto for around $98 for the Bosch sensor.

Here are some other numbers I found that correlated to that Bosch part number.

    ALFA ROMEO: 605493590
    BOSCH: 0280122004 0280122008 0280122001
    CITROEN: 1628L1 72408124 96038938
    FERRARI: 142434
    FIAT: 60549359 7637025
    GM: 826924 90323839
    HYUNDAI: 3517022001 3517022010
    KIA OK: 01118911
    PEUGEOT: 1628L1 72408124 96038938
    PORSCHE: 94460611600 94460616600
    RENAULT: 7701047921
    SAAB: 885719 8857915
    SOLEX: 72408127
    VOLVO: 1336385 3450030

I did not look any further into the rest of those number (except for the Ferrari part number and that one is good), so do your due diligence before you dive in. These are also the same TPS found on:
    456 GT (1995 - 1997)
    456 GTA 1997
    550 MARANELLO 1997
    F355 BERLINETTA 1996
    F355 GTS (1996 - 1997)
    F355 SPIDER (1996 - 1997)

Wouldn´t anyone happen to know an alternate source for the inner rear view mirror?

I´m planning on a project that involves taking apart the mirror and I would like to have some practice/spare junkyard mirrors, I´m assuming that this mirror is also used in other cars from the FIAT group (lots of them available in the yunkyards)

Just as a follow up...the part is "currently" available on Ebay as a used part for around $80 from a single seller in the UK, but the typical online price is more like $355 to $400 for a new one.

One of the tonneau chrome pulls broke on me.
    Found them at http://www.eagleday.com/tefage.html.
They are the exact replacements. Tenax 33 GHE Made in Germany

Dont forget to buy the little tool to make life easier.
They are a quick fix, though a little pricey.

It's a "recirculation pump". It aids in drawing coolant from the rear of the car. Seems the O ring is prone to fail.

This part is NLA. F7192 (Actually a Victor Reinz part number) has been discontinued. Here are the new, applicable part numbers: (I just bought these yesterday. My car is a 2.7)

Ferrari # 159914 = Fel Pro 60201. (This is the passenger side Y-pipe to header gasket)

Ferrrari # 159922 = ????? (Did not buy this one, as mine was perfect. Driver side Y-pipe to header)

Ferrari # 154984 = Fel Pro 60155 (Two are required..this is the header to primary cat gasket. This part works for all F355's)

    Ferrari # 159906 = Fel Pro 9587 (This is the Y-pipe to spacer/bypass valve gasket. 2.7 Only)

FYI: Fel Pro is the same as Federal Mogul. Made in the US.

It was previously reported that Porsche 930 CV boots were a match for the 355, but they are not, at least for the '99 355 they are not. The Porsche boot can fit, but it is half assed and will leak. Both boots are made by Lobro, but have different end designs. The Ferrari part has a flat lip at the end, where as the Porsche part is a beveled end. If you are going to the trouble of taking the axles off to replace the boots, get the right part.

I just fitted these coil packs to my 97 355, working well so far Ignition coil | Meat and Doria

Quite a bit cheaper than the Bosch ones, at under £30 rather than over £100. Thought they were worth a punt at the price. It seems to me that anything electrical in the engine bay is pretty much a consumable anyway given the temps in the bay.

Important info on Bosch part #0 390 721 006! These are discontinued, and you can source them from Saab used parts dealers (from a model year 2000 Saab 9000)

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There is an important sub part number to this item, I just learned today. There is a number in a circle "944" after the main part number Bosch part #0 390 721 006

It is important you get the one with the "944", if you get the one with "917" the operation is reversed, and it won't work! I got mine from a Saab breaker parts dealer and he had both. I got lucky the first time, and it worked perfectly. Today, I was helping a friend fix his, and got one with "917" on it, and it worked in reverse. We called the Saab specialist and he admitted there are different versions and he was at a loss to know which was which, but when we checked my car, my old broken one, and the one we removed off my friends car, all had "944" in a circle after Bosch part #0 390 721 006.

Both the 917 and 944 are used on the Saab 9000, so very important to get the right one.
