As far as being a 308 QV Euro.....Front valance/spoiler is not factory and "flash to pass"/driving lights are not factory OEM(should be CIBIE Airports)either...............approach car with caution!!

    Possible front end panel damage???

GTB style side window louvers on a GTS is also not factory to my knowledge. But each to their own.

Considering it has a painted top, painted spoiler, and added the coupe side windows I would say the front valence, which is a very popular add on, is probably put on for looks. I would still have it checked out for everything including accidents. Maybe he rolled it so he painted the top. Ha.

The Euro "deep" front valance/spoiler only has 3 slots for air intake, not 5!....ones nearest wheels appear to be for cooling brakes....ad mentions Brembo's???

The "flash to pass"/driving lights on this car appear to be much wider than the factory OEM Cibies......grille slats would have needed to be cut shorter to make them fit I think?

The painted rear spoiler and GTBi rear quarter glass grille vents are no big deal though.....still think car may have suffered front end damage??

Spark plug wires are not sitting correctly.....broken/no clips?

    All this urges caution IMHO.

Looks like a nice car. I don't particularly like the red painted roof or spoiler but thats just my tastes but I wish my car had the fog lights.

I was wondering the same thing, John :) So I emailed the seller. Below is his response:

    Hi Scott,

The previous owner who I bought the car from, spent a lot of money to
get the car CA legal. Under my ownership, I either go to Patrick Otis
or T&R Automotive to get the car tuned for the smog, and there's never
a real problem for me. There's no rust issue that I know of. Let me
know if you have any more questions.

    Thanks

    Am

    Just you Mike.

Actually, they do all look red, but the ones with the back up lights are the amber ones...just a bad picture.

    +1

It is a euro engine (K-Jet without Lambda), but, if it has good cats on it, it could blow warm-running CA legal numbers at the tailpipes. Hard to tell from those photos if it has the "quasi-Lambda" system added (the small yellow connector near the oil fill cap says "maybe"), and it doesn't seem to have an air injection system, but the techs doing the inspection may just see the cats and think that all is OK.

Patrick prides himself on getting these cars to pass emissions. Still, I personally shy away from Euro cars which have had to be butchered all in the name of emission standards they weren't designed in the first place anyway. Hippy crap IMO.

This is my car. To my best knowledge, it is a Euro car. The VIN # is ZFFLA13B000049225. The car already had all the modifications (or most of you call it "butchered") listed in my CL ads when I bought it. No, I didn't roll the car, I did have the roof painted and butchered the poor louvers to look like a GTB on purpose.

Many of you have emailed me with questions about the car. I'm sorry for giving you short answers. English is my second language and writing has always been very difficult for me.

FYI, I'm not trying to fool anyone about my car other than it's fake GTB. I hardly have time to drive the car this year. My Dad was forced into retirement early this year and he is very depressed. I have to travel oversea to visit him more often. I work 9-10 hours a day, and I'm helping my wife with her new business in the weekend. We have a big expense coming up in Oct. and selling my car is the least I can do. The car will be on ebay within the next week or so.

I'm not a paid member and don't want to advertise here. For more information, please email me with your # if you really are interested.

    Thank you

Amnster, I quite like your butchered louvres and may do the same. Do you have a close up? How'd you go about it? BTW I painted my targa top red, too. It's way nicer! Sincere luck with the sale & your life events.

A very nice simulation of a GTB from a GTS.

The euro GTB had cute little (color correct) Ferrari logos on the back of each side mirror.
