    Greetings:

I need help finding a Torque Strut Bracket, part # 107313, for my 1976 Ferrari 308 GTB. It is item #12 on the diagram below. I also need an the air cleaner cover/housing. Any help that anyone can offer at obtaining these parts for a reasonable sum will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

Have you tried the typical dismantling businesses (Ferrparts, Specialized Parts Planet, etc.)?

Try GT Car Parts in Arizona. They often have parts like that sitting on the shelf, and their prices are fair, not the typical Ferrari-inflation factor.

For some reason I seem to recall '308GTB' having an extra early airbox??
Maybe it was only the Firing Order diagram plate...

Maybe I am mistaken, but check with him...

How could they lose your "dog bone'????

The early carb air box is a rare part, they got muffling in 1977, so mine would not help him out, subtly different snout shape too, as I recall......

I thought that was the cavallino's bridle bit.

It just makes me furious when mechanics LOSE all these 'hard to find" bits...

A Body Shop threw my rear bumper in the scrap pile.
I retrieved it, and handed it to them saying:

    "we'll need this next week".....

I would have been hugely mad if they had damaged it, tossing it around...

It has some aluminum welding to address a slight crack but is structurally solid. T Rutlands has it for $326 - How about a $125?

I'll have an air cleaner housing in hand shortly. Might also be able to locate a dog bone. Both will be reasonably priced.

    Thanks...Jim

Is that from a 328, maybe???

RAMMER needs an early style, as in the pics above, it's a round bar with bushings at each end.

    Thanks Jim!
    Where is RAMMER??

No, the separate brace for mounting the "dogbone" was eliminated in 1978 and after (he's asking for the thing that the dogbone connects to on the 1977 and before engine -- not the dogbone itself -- see post #1). He's just showing the piece upside-down to show the weld repair more clearly (but he should've shown a topside photo too to illustrate that the weld repair is not so noticeable ;)).

Oh, Hell....you are absolute ly correct, as usual.....

    I'll go get more coffee.

So he's well along, if he will come back to the thread!
I agree that welding looks great....drive on.

The user with the airbox cannot get PMs tho....

Bump this thread, as RAMMER has forgotten where he put it, per his PM over the weekend!

It's so great when people find the original parts that these cars need!
