Saturday in Port Jefferson: Red Ferrari 3x8 GTS Yellow Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera And this: Orange Lamborghini Aventador with glass/reflective covering. It was parked across two spots and as you can see, it was in the process of getting a ticket. It drew a huge crowd and no one really knew what it was. When the owner came back (who has been profiled somewhat unfavorably in a jalopnik article a little while back) he revved the engine when no one was around a few times and left. I'm in no place to judge but I would never have done this to my car, to each his own I guess. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I spoke to the owner about the car. He wrapped it when he did the Gumball 3000. He said he's going to leave it on for now, he may peel it off after he gets sick of it, or it ruins. I personally like the car without it. I saw his car at a car show when he first got it, before wrapping it, and it looked stunning! Here it is: Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes Mike, that's where it was! That's the show here I decided 100% that I wanted a 360 instead of a GTR. Before the show, I was about 95% sure.
I was there with mine. One of the best shows around. Perfect setting, great food and amazing cars. Can't wait for next year.
LOL...I was hanging out in Port Jeff a few months ago and was parked in the same parking spot. The 2nd pic is from one of the Glen Cove car shows, when Salamone pulled in right after me and parked next to me. I think he's stalking me! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just saw my first Ferrari F40 in the wild. Mill plain Road in Danbury CT, about 3 miles down the road from where I saw Jim's p4/5 at a gas station on Lake Avenue in 2008. Today I was driving down Mill Plain Road towards NY and the F40 was coming towards me. There were two people in the car. I went to Panda house to get food and on my way back i saw it again heading back towards NY. I'm guessing it had NY plates, but i couldn't tell. For me the F40 was more exciting because at the time in 2008 I did not know the historic nature of what I was seeing when i saw the Glickenhaus p4/5.
Ridgewood, NJ had its car show last night, and because it's not known outside of Bergen County, I'll just share the supercars/rare sightings that were there: - Red 355 Spider - Red Mondial - Silver 360 Spider - Silver Murcielago - Silver R8 V10 - Black SLS - Silver Fisker Karma - DeTomaso (looked similar to a Countach) - Callaway C12 - RUF RT12 - '54 Corvette
Black California on Hutch south @ Mamaroneck Ave, 4pm, I was in my black 430, we were side by side for a split second (it looked like he could care less), whatever... still nice
Thanks - lets hope there are some devils games to see the season. Not really a street spotting, but visited monticello motor club today, too many hot cars to name, but included 2 Ariel Atoms, Black Ferrari FF, and the first Aston Martin Rapide I've seen on the street (Rapide in parking lot not on track).
Yesterday: Driving around Far Hills & Bernardsville in New Jersey and saw these on the beautiful back roads: Ferrari 430 Spyder in Silver Aston Martin DB9 Convertible in Black Dodge Viper SRT-10 in Burnt Orange with Black Stripes Today: Audi R8 V10 in Red on Route 34 in Wall Township, NJ Audi R8 V10 Spyder in Black on Route 18 in Marlboro, NJ Aston Martin V8 Vantage Convertible in Black on Route 18 in Marlboro, NJ
Saw a red 308 GTS convertible on bloomfield ave in Caldwell today. I was in my 599 but we were going the opposite direction.
Yellow 430 Spyder this past Saturday, heading west on 495, by Queens Blvd around 4:00. Looked great in the sun.
