I saw the car in person... ho-hum... It was missing the antenna completely, just a hole in the back, that's it!
Most things get crazy prices at Barrett-Jackson. The "handlers" do everything they can to pump up the bidders and get them to keep bidding. Some people get caught up in the action, get excited because they are on TV, and just get carried away. B-J is not the real world when it comes to car prices. But the more they push prices up on cars like this, the better it is for all of us "vintage" Ferrari owners.
Hey Carby, how are you, mate ?? Can you even begin to imagine what my "Rachel" would bring at auction (with a full major completed by EUGENIO) ??? Cheers, Hank
Hank, did you get the full major work done? If so what did they do and how much $? I'm at 33K and need it soon! Chers, greg
Most people are only interested in looking at the hot wife. Someone paid over-market for the car. With that price, the hot wife could have gotten a hotter car.
Testarossa's are in the 70's... I thought we were in the high 40's? I know of no other hot cars in the 40k range.
Cough, cough ... What kind of Testarossa for 45 grand ? What kind of nice diablo at 75 ? Are we talking US dollars here ?
