When I was out with the engine, five years ago I dismantled the ac pump. After that, I have not had it in the car. Now I may sell the car and the buyer wants it installed before any purchase.
    I therefore need some help.
How much oil should these compressors have?
How much Freon 12 is required?
    Where is filler faucet?

Hope someone can give me answers today since I hope to get this done tomorrow.

    The car is a 1977 308GTB

Suggest take it to a specialist. Could be well worth it.

Agreed, unless you have the proper equipment to DIY. The system will need to be evacuated using a suction pump and oil and freon will have to be introduced into the system.

Also, R12 is banned in many countries, although you may find it in Mexico(possibly others) and its become very expensive. You can switch to 134A with some modifications, but would it be worth it......I don't know?

I have Freon, oil and a suction pump :)
Now I have found out how much oil and freon it should be. I've been looking in the wrong place in the manual.

May want to rebuild that old compressor first. Seals rot, if not sealed up then moisture damage possible, spider webs, etc.

Just a thought, but with 134 on the way out in favor of the next latest and greatest thing, I wouldn't rebuild an a/c system for 134 right now. It will be obsolete by the first time the new owner needs to recharge it, and they'll have to pay for another complete rebuild. Just deduct the cost from the selling price and tell him that you suggest he wait a year before fixing it.
