Inherited a unique Porsche and need some advice

For those keeping tabs on this car. It is about 2 weeks or so away from going on the market. I will let you know when it's officially for sale with all the details.

Honestly, I am not sure if they faced any litigation over the kit.

I used to attend a lot of auctions in Newport Beach back in 1989 and Getty always seemed to be there.

 

Yes I know, my subscription just expired a week ago and need to renew it. Just wanted to post an update.

 

well for any who are following this, the Porsche came home today! Engine sorted out and strong as ever and the bodywork all done with just some minor things to take care of. what a nice drive home it was I forgot how powerful the car was. I had 3 people pull into the gas station to talk to me about the car while filling up (then they left, no gas) and my wife (following me on I4) counted 7 people taking pictures of it. I will post pictures soon.

Ok reeeaaallly old post. So whatever happened to this car?

 

That car seriously needs proper sized/offset wheels/tires combo otherwise very cool.

 

Got it up and running, enjoyed the car. ended up selling it to a guy in GA back in the end of 2015 if I remember correctly

 

I read 90% of the thread with great interest before I realized it was from 2012. I'm so glad there was a happy ending. So sorry about the loss of your father.
