I just purchased a 360 from a private party and the air bag light is on. I tried to see if I could diagnose the issues with an ob2 code reader and it didn't even detect that the air bag light was on. Any ideas what it could be? Are there common issues with the 360 air bag lights? Where should I start?

I'm new to 360 ownership, but turn the battery isolator for a while. I did that when the CEL came on after filling up. Left it for about half an hour and it cleared. You will need the radio code though for when you turn the power back on.
Don't worry too much! I think new owners tend to ***** themselves when anything like this happens.
FYI Ferrari told me yesterday to drive it and not nanny drive. One guy here said they like Mike Tyson rather than a ballerina!
    He's right.
    Enjoy

Cant hurt to turn the power off.. but I suspect it may need a Leonardo or sd2 to clear it..

Was the car shipped in on a truck? When mine came in off the truck Air bag light was on. Brought it to my Indy, hooked it up to the sd2 and cleared the code. I assume the bumpy ride may have triggered something within the system.

This may be worth a try, good luck and hope it gets resolved.

Low battery and jump starting. The two common causes of this. An Obd tester will not read anything to do with the airbag. Switching off the power will not delete the light. The ecu has stored a code and will need hooking up to the diagnostic to clear the code. 8 times out of 10 the light can be switched off, but occasionally jump starting burns out the ecu. Incidentally, the airbag system will not operate in the event of an accident with the airbag light on, so you should get it checked out...

you'll need an SD2 reader to clear it. I had mine throw when I turned on the ignition without the dash in. No hard reset (turning off the battery) or OBDII reader will clear it (unfortunately). The trouble becomes what the cause might be...good luck in what the reader tells you and hope that it isnt a $$$ problem!
