And the second option will be vegetarian, hence the hy-Kers.

    Actually, I've got the name:

F42 hitch hy-Kers...guide to the galaxy

Since Ferrari has gone to really short names lately (FF, F12) what I the chances this one may follow?
MM - Mille Miglia (or MM12)
    GV12 - for Gilles
or something like that. F712 or F730, depending on engine size.
The other thing I was thinking about is Farina, since they are both gone now.

F712 and f730 not really suitable for the flagship limited series.... Cant see them using a 12 or naming after a driver it with need to be something very special to follow on from the Enzo or very simple that it gives the same feel...

We already know the most honest name for it.

The Ferrari F currently better than everything out there.

I agree that it is impossible to surpass the Enzo name, hence an Enzo II moniker would be appropriate. Another choice could be "Piero Ferrari". After all Piero is Enzo's (the man) successor. :p

As great as these two sound, I doubt that Ferrari would want their car's name to be perceived as McLaren's copycat.

Let's not stop this great (though useless) name brainstorming.

I don't think they will name it after any person, not even Gilles Villeneuve. If anything at all, something to do with Dino.

Maybe classic resurrected or place names: something including Mille Miglia (MM/MM12 sounds OK as lucky13 proposed) or Europa, or even Emilia.

Definitely short names in the fashion of FF, F12 seem to be very probable right now.

    Other thoughts:
Ferrari Rossa (don't know if it could be usable as it's been used before and I don't even like it!)

    IMO
Ferrari is the only real team in F1 past or current that should use F1 in a title of a road car Lotus given there past would be distend 2nd and Macca not far behind them .
But hey its well and truly done now....
not a copycat thing I think Ferrari own that so to speak far more than any other.....

Enzo F1 or F1 Enzo but cant see them doing it... the other option could be related to that fine Pony on every Ferrari

Did think of Europa, but with the greek's mess going on it would be better waiting for that name.

Maybe Ferrari LeMans? After winning gt

All these hold true but the fact remains that Macca beat Ferrari to that great name. If you were Churchill, would you name your child Adolf? :D

I would propose Ferrari Cavallino. :)

Otherwise my dream was to have a Ferrari Schumacher car, but unfortunately he moved to Mercedes.. :(

Europa reminds me of that little Lotus. Not evocative or emotional enough for the best hypercar.
Le Mans? Would makes sense only if Ferrari took to that race in the top flight.

    Ok, so no Ferrari Avio.

    There are many possibilities though:
    - Tazio
    - Mugello
    - Imola
    - Monza
    - Uno
    - Mille, or Millemiglia

And then, since a possible 7.3l engine displacement, I was thinking about C12S, Fangio F1 or even Zonda, but I guess there would be some copyright problems.... :D

I never thought F1 was a great name. For starters it was a street sports car, not a Formula 1, so I always thought WTF???

In the style of "FF" and "F12" I think this car should be called the "FU".

Monza have been used in the past. Didn't they call one of their numbered cars Imola as well at some point?

Ferrari Uno. Seriously? :D:D It was build already in the 80's ;)
