I vote real or THE best kit car I've ever seen. The interior is always a dead giveaway but I would bet this is the real deal. Dirty....but real

Aren't those the fairly rare factory modular speedlines? No way it's a fake.

I don't think they made any 355 "GTS" kit cars, I vote real.

I'd bet it's the same car. Has the same amount of window tint. Not too many GTS's out there with those wheels.

Def real. The only diff I see in the 2 cars (FOD and the dirty one) is the exhaust.
There can't be that many Blk GTS's with chrome Speedlines roaming around

So the jury is in and pretty much all of you were right:

    IT'S REAL!!!

It isn't the one pictured above, as this one has grey interior. Talked to the owner. Super nice guy but not at all a Ferrari enthusiast. He told me he got it from his brother in Texas about a year or so ago. He said he's the third owner but the car had gone from Texas to Cali, to Washington then here to Utah.

He loves it and isn't in a hurry to sell it (I had to ask). It's pretty rough around the edges but it's real!

I only got a quick peek at the VIN (I'll check the registry). He admits it needs a wash but he's an older fellow (mid 60's) and admits he's not as limber as he used to be. I volunteered to help him give it a good detail and told him I'd bring my Ferrari mechanic friend along if he'd like.

Case closed. The trailer park 355 is real. :)

I'd keep in touch with the guy...he might not be in a hurry to sell it now, but his situation may change. You never know...he might give you a deal on it.

    Absolutely real GTS,

Those wheels are actual 3 piece chrome speedlines, the exhaust is a tubi, curved rear glass, the marker lights are euro.

    Feel bad, deserves better.
I wonder what the interior looks like.

I can't quite remember, because I only got a quick peek. Didn't want to be too suspicious. It was something like 115033 or 155033 but looking at the (sticky) registry here, I don't think the 355 went as high as 155xxx. Correct?

I am keeping in touch with him. That's for sure. Not sure I'd actually buy this one, but I'll do what I can to help him bring it back to a more appropriate state.

The interior was so-so, unfortunately it was in similar condition as the exterior. There were no rips in the seats but the dash had the classic peeling and was missing a panel near the windshield. It also has the dreaded "sticky buttons".

I was looking at the rear pics my friend - the one you were looking at totally looks like flared due to the lighting - Cheers :)
