I am still involved in the movie process (at least for now) and I saw the 1st draft from the screenwriter yesterday. I was not that crazy about it but I'm told sometimes it takes a whole lot of rewrites to get it right for the big screen. I may have to hold back the release date of the sequel to let Mr. Breeze run its course. I am learning a great deal about both the book and the film industry and how at first they do not know your alive and then they are all your best buddies and can do great for your next project. Even the national magazines have been calling for interviews. I might be famous for 15 or 20 seconds!

It never ceases to amaze me what we call entertainment these days,no wonder they are waving seven figures plus at me for the rights to Mr. Breeze and Revelation. Good luck with your show!

I saw Skyfall last night and I enjoyed it (kind of a full circle for the Bond character) though I must admit since it looks like Daniel Craig is going to play Zack in Mr. Breeze I was trying to imagine him as the character I created.

Everyone will find out soon enough and I am told things do change depending upon who is cast in the other roles and shooting schedules even the sequel "Revelation the return of Mr. Breeze" (which comes out Jan or Feb next year) can change things I have just sent it out there for them to read. Funny thing is no matter how many amazing things people say about what I've writen I still have trouble thinking of myself as an author just a guy who had a 41 year old dream come true. I now have bloggers PR groups and people sending me messages from the website telling me the book changed them! That is what really makes me feel good because that is what I intended when I wrote it. I would not trade one comment like that for every exotic car in the world. I said in a recent interview "you can change the world one heart and one mind at a time" I am already working on my next book "Priest" (a story about the middle east that spans 50 years) . Thank god for editors!

I performed a Google search and read some reviews and 99% were 4 out of 5 stars and imo that is a worthy read. I'll call B&N tomorrow and see if they have a copy in stock or can order a copy for me, I may mail it to you for an autograph lol ;) !!

Congrats Morrie for realizing a lifelong dream/goal.

Thanks everyone just approved the cover design and have gotten the book back from the editor and as usual she had many suggestions. I have found an artist for the series of childrens books I wrote for my twins and sometime next year the first book in the "Young Jake and Taylor of Lomerry" series will be out. It is a little break for me before I get back to work of the next novel "Preist". I have said this many times I cannot put into words what it feels like to have your life long dream come true and to have reviewers say things like your book should be translated into every language and read by every human being on the planet sort of makes you feel a bit humble (and that aint easy to do in my case). It is funny I still have a hard time coming to grips with the fact I'm actually good at all this even after all the praise. Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year to everyone and my New Year's toast to all. "May all your dreams come true"

Thanks now that Revelation is done and the Kindle version is out I will start doing interviews again. The children's books I wrote for my sons "Young Jake & Taylor of Lomerry" should be out by May and sometime in 2014 my next novel "Priest", and if they get their sh--t together in La La land the film version of Mr. Breeze will come out. This has been an amazing ride for me and now my books are up for some awards. This all started out as something I did to show my sons that if someone with almost no formal education can write a novel they can do anything they put their mind to. Now I'm trying to change the way the world thinks as you can see if you check the blog posts on the mrbreezethenovel website.

I am proud to say that both Mr. Breeze and Revelation have been nominated for book awards. The reviews for Revelation are starting to come in and once again I am humbled by the comments. There are two national magazines that have shown an interest in writing stories about me (already did the pre interview questions) and things are moving along in Hollywood. I am doing radio interviews again and will be doing a live one for a Houston station this Friday at 6:30 est. I have had the chance to talk to and meet some pretty amazing people because of all of this and this really is a dream come true for me. I wrote these books to do my part to change the way we all see the world and based on the comments I have been sent I think I might have done what I set out to do. My next novel "Priest" (not about a priest) will be out in 2014. Yes, I still like cars but trying change the world just seems a bit more important to me these days

Well it took a lot longer than I thought, had a few things (like almost dying) get in the way of the creative process, but Priest is finally done and at the editors. The cover is being designed by an award winning (yes they do give out awards for book cover designs) designer in Germany. I am hoping it will be ready by the end of next month. It is a very different book than my first two and I am pretty pleased it.

That's great stuff! I have some friends that are novelists - neither by trade, but very driven people. On my list of things to do one day!

    Congrats!

Thanks it is for me at least very rewarding. For someone with Asbergers and almost no formal education it was something I needed to do to prove I could.

Well the cover designer has done her work and the cover is ready to go. I never knew they gave out awards for book cover designs but they do. Already 1/4 way through with the next book. I donate every cent I make from this to charity but I enjoy doing it and the nice comment people send me.

The paperback version was released on Friday and much to my surprise sold more copies in the first 24 hours than the other two books combined. Electronic versions will become available next week. I already have the next one almost done (it is therapeutic for me to write keeps my mind focused) but I will not release it until next year. Have a new puppy coming and I have just started understanding exactly what it means to be someone with Aspergers so I want to put some time into that. I went by Algar a couple weeks ago (I have that itch again) I think it is time to my gearshift knob to good use again!
