    Folks,

    I just posted in FerrariAds...

    http://ferrarichat.com/forum/vbclassified.php?do=ad&id=10766

...This is the O.E. CTEK unit which comes in the red storage bag. Shoot me a PM if interested.

It works, so why am I selling? Well I've had my Scuderia for a year now, but I finally realized I had TWO chargers in my car cover storage bag!

    Cheers,

    DL

ps. This may be the same unit for the F430, but you'll have to verify.

    Experts,

Someone asked if this charger will work for 360 as well. Will it?

It has a 'male' plug at the end that fits into a 'female' receptacle which I know the Scuderia has. Does the 360 have the same receptacle as well?

    Thanks,

    DL

No, the F430 is prewired with the correct plug that fits the battery tender. You would need the adapter for the 360. Its a 4 pin plug with three live pins.

    Hi Mickey,

Does this adapter have a part #? Ferrari part or CTEK part?

    Thanks,

    DL

    Hi Don,

No part number that I know of. The ctek/Ferrari unit itself says 231504. I only know this cause I just bought a F430 car cover kit for my 360 and it was for a 430. It included the battery tender. I was disappointed it needs to be modified or find the adapter. The problem that I see is that the connection from the factory might be more complicated than just two connectors to a battery terminal, cause the manual says the car wont start when the tender is plugged in. So that tells me there might be some relay, bypass or switch involved. The Ctek 3300 has adapters, but they dont look like they fit the plug correctly. Let me know if you track down something for the 360 cause I am in a similiar situation that you are...sort of :) I guess I need to buy a 430 now so this battery tender will work...

Correct. I have a spare original charger for F430 for sale still in plastic, never used. If anyone is interested send me a PM.

Note: the supplied power cable is of type Euro, you will need a US type

Definately looks like the connector. We need just the cable that connects to the battery.
    Thanks...

I almost think you can clip our plug and add the battery connectors if we have to for the 360.

This is what I have for my 360, old VW beetle and I'm going to pick up another one next fall for my wife's convertible- all 3 cars essentially sit all winter (at least when there is salt on the roads). The battery tender works great and was recommended by the mechanic of the former owner of my Ferrari. <$50 shipped in this ad:

Car cover, 2 seat covers, steering wheel cover, battery conditioner, small bag for battery conditioner, all inside red storage bag.

FYI, I may have 2 extra seat covers and a steering wheel cover (let me know if you want me to search). This one may work for you...

...Although I don't know if 430 and Scuderia covers are the same size (i.e., Daytona seat covers vs. CF racing seat covers). Also not sure if what he is selling contains a battery conditioner.

FYI, the Scuderias have a special socket by the passenger footwell to accept the O.E. battery conditioner plug. I don't know if aftermarket CTEK units can be purchased/ordered with this exact plug.

    Cheers,

    DL
