    the C-5 used to have a unique engine sound... didn't need to see it to know what it was...haven't heard or seen one recently, talk of new engines will definitely give the plane a new identity

    is that AGL or MSL ?

    that could be approx 1000' error or a total spread of approx 2000' if doing the calculaltions wrong when using their local field elevation or mean terrain elevation

    AGL could make it 7254' MSL or

    MSL could make it 5254 AGL

    :=)

    Excellent quesion; you're to be commended...

    The OP said 6,254 "over the house", so I went with that.. so, AGL, minus about 20 feet for the height of the house itself. YMMV... :)

    ...you're assuming the house is a one level ranch type single family, what if it was a 2 story house... or if house meant something like multi family apartment / condo high rise structure... lots of unknowns :=)
