i think the blues and grays are being over produced. seems to be the "safe" colors of the day. getting kinda boring. maybe colors from the classic color chart would be nice to see.

About 2pm.. I was aiming for couple of hours earlier but got waylaid in Innsbruck on the way there.. then tons of idyllic landscape picture opportunities after that..

Traffic was super light.. only passed one wheezing campervan struggling up and I got out, got pics, and back in and ahead of it again several times before it ever caught up..

Thanks for that. I think I am going to give the St Bernard a miss and do the Stelvio on your suggestion. Doing it on a Thursday so hopefully traffic still light and fingers crossed for the weather.

I'm in Maranello as we speak!

Leaving Friday afternoon though.. wonder if we'll cross paths? Send me a PM if you think so and will check messages Thursday evening..

Safe driving, have fun, and fingers crossed for you for the weather!

Good luck. Great views but the switch-backs will drive you nuts after the first ten.

The dark colors mute the detail of the aero bridge through bodywork too much IMO. I want to see reds and colors on this car, not shades of black and white.

They will.. but it's still a box that just has to be ticked!

At least the run on the side towards Como is more open and faster than the climb up from the Austrian direction.. but it's VERY scenic coming from that direction too!

100% with you! A dark coloured Ferrari is like a supermodel in nuns clothes. Just wrong!

To me it depends on this model. The 550 looks awkward in gialo. The Enzo looks great in black, etc.
