I'm tempted to say "we are what we drive" but after reading the last few posts, I'm not sure how it applies.

OK Thread jumpers...back on topic. The PM's for time and location of the Mason Dixon rally were sent Wed at noon. If you didnt get a PM then you didnt send me as request to participate via PM. So if you didnt get a PM then please send me a request to participate via PM. The instruction booklets and reservations for our ending location are based solely on the PM's I received not on whether you said you were coming in this thread. PM's only validate participation. Thanks and we are really looking forward to a terrific event! Jon in Delaware

I plan to be there, provided my navigator shows up on time. Shooting for 9:00 AM, but will likely be a bit later than that.

Sandy is coming and I'm getting ready for her. My co-pilot bailed out and I'm helping him get his boat out of the water. We live just inland from Ocean City NJ and it looks like we're in the middle of storm. I lost power for 5 days in the July storm and can't tell you what a pain in the butt it was. The Mondial is ready in the garage but soon will be surrounded with patio furniture and trash cans. I thought I would be able to get ready on Sunday but now they are saying high winds and rain starting early afternoon. Thanks to Jon and Bob for putting this together.I wish I could be there tomorrow but Sandy looks like she's serious. All the best and have fun. Merle

    1. The trees were resplendent in their red and gold colors
    2. The weather cooperated nicely
    3. The rally master (and his co-presenters) deserve much praise and many thanks
    4. Curtis is now a "two" rather than a "one" and that's great news
    5. Jon is now "one plus one" rather than a "one" and that's great news, too
    6. I couldn't keep up with the first three cars (Ferrari 308, Corvette, and Ferrari 458)
    7. Interesting/diverse group of cars overall
    8. The restaurant was a great place to end the event
    9. My two favorite cars today: the red BMW M3 and the orange Porsche Cayman
    10. New Jersey was well represented today

P.S. I'm glad we didn't have to travel through horse poop

I echo all of VGM911's comments above, especially thanking Jon, Don and Bob for putting together an awesome event.

It's clear that this event was all about the driving given the lack of photos, other than Eli's. Looking forward to Frosty Ball's in a couple weeks and hopefully many of the same faces.
