I'll start. I bought this in 1983 1976 Holden Monaro LE Image Unavailable, Please Login At that time, my Father had a 1974 Ford Landau Image Unavailable, Please Login Made an interesting garage at home. Each are worth Big Bucks now, but long gone.
The Landau was a fair bit more powerful with a 351 Cleveland. The Landau is what I learnt to drive in. It was a lot of fun I can tell you.
Great stuff! What was it worth new and what is it worth now?? I thought those old tanks are worth nothing these days. The Monaro a different story of course.
My Brother's and my first car. 1983 Sigma auto sedan that I rolled back in 2000. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think you might be surprised. There is a Ford Landau on CarSales for $45K. Bit ambitious, I would think. I think probably $35K for a Holden Monaro LE and $30K for a Ford Landau. FWIW, the Landau was a much better car IMO.

I call BS. You weren't 17 in 1983, so couldn't be your first car. Like any true Rev Head, I got my first car before I got a drivers licence at 17.
My first car, 1128 cc's of awesome power! Might explain my fascination with the Torana GTR-X at Motorclassica... Image Unavailable, Please Login
and some of you might find my 5th car a difficult one to figure out.... it was unique in Australia at the time. Image Unavailable, Please Login
