Ha close! It's an Isuzu Gemini Coupe built with local Holden parts. Was never sold in Australia as a coupe so I built my own in 1982 (the things idle young minds do!). A few were also imported from Japan and used for racing.
I bought it in 05, was RHD and had been imported about 8-10 years before that (if I recall correctly). Conversion was done by Crossover Conversions, was actually a really nice job, but that model of C4 is pretty easy due to the symmetry of the dash. Sold it in 08 or 09 after I bought my ZX-6R Ninja and decided that it was too slow and didn't drive it as much anymore. (ZX-6R was later traded in for the Ducati 848)
The first car my dad ever bought for me was a Ferrari. He's bought me a further 7 since. I'm going to die happy. Probably soon.
