Selling my 1962 Jaguar Mk II sedan here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/vbclassified.php?do=ad&id=10898 She's a beaut, but I don't have the space. Converted with a Ford 302 V8 and C4 trans. Its a really nice driver. Email or PM me for more photos. Asking 17,950/offer. Thanks, Tom (Sorry about the upside down photo ... dang iPad!) Image Unavailable, Please Login
Apparently the change from positive to negative ground resulted in an anti-gravity conversion. I do have a Jag engine and trans available, too. It's a high performance XK150S engine, so it would be period correct, and pretty darn cool if someone wanted to do the work ... and sure to get the car off the ceiling!
That's certainly a cool ride, but my commute consists of school zones, heavy traffic and often 100+ degree tempuratures, so no, a daily of that era is out of bounds. Would definitely be cool to restore with the XK150S engine and trans.
This was one of the cars that prompted me to take up an apprenticeship at Jaguar cars (BLMC) in 1970. I passed one every day on the way to school. A fine motorcar
