i have tubi on my 355 gts. Looking at capristo stage 3 or even louder capristo race. Is it worth the cost? i will get nothing for my tubi and a capristo cost almost 10% of what the car is worth. Will it sound so much of an f1 racer more in the cabin? heard al the clips on internet but hard to hear how it sounds in the car
I don't have experience with the tubi but I can tell you that the capristo 3 is pure orgasmic. You'll always have the windows down and punching the gas.
Cut the tubi open and adjust the baffles to your liking. If your not good with a TIG then have someone help you. Its easy and fun.
It wasn't worth it for me, even over the stock exhaust. I traded my Capristo 2 for some challenge rims as I'm not into the whole loud exhaust for the sake of being loud deal. It was louder than stock in the car, but you didn't get the f1 shriek in the car unless you were driving next to something that could reflect the sound back at you - next to buildings or in a tunnel. The only real benefit to performance is the weight reduction and it was fairly significant compared to stock, but will probably be negligible compared to your Tubi.
Why will you get nothing for your tubi?.....I see them all the time on ebay for a good buck. Capristo stage 3 is really amazing. If your into loud exhaust systems I wouldn't consider anything else.
