Not according to the Incredible Hulk himself: http://www.blick.ch/sport/formel1/gemaess-huelkenberg-holt-force-india-sutil-id2115967.html
Kovalainen and Kobayashi are on the market, I would be surprised if the team doesn't take them under consideration. Anyway it's a shame to lose both those drivers.
What a joke. So much for Vijay's airline employee's. Actually the team does not deserve to survive if anyone has read of the mess and pain he is causing his own employee's at Kingfisher. Some havent been paid for months. Typical Im rich the rest of you can rot. No surprise with new money. The guy is fast becoming all flash and zero class. I wish him nothing good and he leaves F1. No loss.
So one of the businesses of the team boss is having a hard time so all the employes working for the F1 team deserve to disappear?
He hasnt paid the employee's of an airline. Pathetic. I could care less about his F1 team surviving. Odds are it wont no matter. No loss. He is criminal for putting that amount of money into the team when so many have not been paid at the airline being advertised on the side of his useless F1 cars. They can join HRT.
I prefer a big field with many cars, even if half of them has no chance in hell of getting near the front. And I'd like to see the Indian GP stay on the calendar. While I'm no fan of Mallaj and agree with you that his decisions are pathetic, I do want that team, like any other team, to survive.
Yes emotional moment for me. I was taken by surprise this news knowing how much his airline employee's have been giving up according to some business sources. Hopefully he can be bought out and his airline saved. His son's tweets are even worse. A self indulgent entitled fool.
VJ isn't the worst rogue to to play at F1 but our standards seemed to have changed. FI, as a team, has been one of the bright spots among the new boys and I wish them well but what we used to embrace as rascals are now rather less palatable.
If both HRT and Force India hit the sack, how about allowing 3 cars for the 4 major teams (RB, MB, Ferrari and McLaren)? Same number of cars, but MUCH more competitive, no? Wonder if some would even want that, assuming no increased fees as a result (only running the extra car). Otherwise it's looking like a 20-car grid for next year.
No worries. I had once a similar experience with a loose cannon CEO wasting company resources in F1 and understand your anger and frustration. In a way I'm happy that Mallaj is in trouble because he totally rubbed me the wrong way when he entered F1 and explained how he'll be getting the title in a few years down the road. Such arrogance and naivete. It's the same nonsense we heard from the likes of Jaguar, BMW, Mercedes etc. But I know that Schadenfreude won't help much because in the end the sport is loosing if teams disappear. I have witnessed a GP with a field of 6 cars running. It ain't pretty or fun. To be precise I have seen two such GPs, if one includes the "pirate GP" in Imola.
Surely any team which joins F1 does so in the belief that they're going to win one day. I don't have a problem with VM saying that. That's completely normal. I also don't have a problem with one business going under while others thrive. That's just how things work. Corporations are formed so that if one business fails, it doesn't necessarily affect the other successful businesses. Don't like it? Change the laws...don't blame him. Happens all the time.
