The F Car Enjoyment thread

I just got my 512TR a few months ago. I keep having wonderful moments. The most striking was my first drive. It was the realization of a life long desire to get my own Ferrari. The feel of the steering, the smell of the leather and feel of the seat were all new to me. It was like living in a dream, or as if I were in the matrix but knew I was only "jacked in".

 

Where do I start?? There are so many!!!




1. On my initial drive home from Motorcars International in Springfield, MO. I had NEVER seen so many cell phone cameras come out as I did on that road trip - some 500 miles or so for that first drive.

2. At a gas station when I took my wife out for her first ride I was filling up when I heard someone scream Ferrari at the top of their lungs. I quickly looked up and saw an individual hanging with their torso half out of a car doing 30mph yelling "Thats a F'ing FERRARI!!"

3. Bringing my SON home from the hospital after he was born in my Ferrari. How many other people can say their first car ride ever was in a Ferrari??

4. Driving around the Track at Hutchinson Island (Savannah, GA) with a group of about 15 other Ferraris at speed.

5. Parking on the lawn with around 100 other Ferraris at the FCA Meet in 2011.

6. Walking into my garage every day and calling to my wife "Hey, guess what?" She replies, "What?" and I respond with "There's a Ferrari in our garage!"

7. After I moved to Georgia and drove the car to work the first time hearing people talk about what a nice kit car I had only to pop the hood and watch the looks on their face when they realized it was a real Ferrari. Pretty much what happened when I first bought it and took it to work as well.


I could go on for HOURS with the stories I have about the times I have had with this car. Worth EVERY penny of it!!!
