Class doesn't score in the standings. After Brazil 2008, Massa went way up in my estimation with the class he showed handling that defeat. Doesn't matter, though, when he's slow. He did impress me with his recent race performances, after sucking hugely (with class ) for 2 2/3 seasons. Hopefully it won't take him 15 races next year to figure out the tires and car.
+10000 Bravo Felipe (Magnificent Job, especially at the start)! Forza Fernando and Ferrari the True 2012 Champions!
+1 earned the time with the team next year the last few weeks of the season. Lets hope this momentum continues.
A Great drive from Massa cannot take that away from him. Trouble is his chance at ever becoming a WDC came and went on this very track in 08
I have a feeling he is ok with that overall, after surviving the spring in the helmet, and he has a young child now. It is amazing how little some-things probably matter
Great Points, he drove like a true Champion today. A true Selfless Driver, one with real class. I wish we could have the Mods change the name of this thread.
I think it best to leave it as is. Perhaps people will be slower to write off someone else if we don't forget.
Shouldn't come as a surprise since most of us don't like Massa for a) his poor driving and b) his selfish attitude. Neither of which he showed today, he was the complete opposite of his former self. If he keeps it up like this I'm perfectly fine with him being Alonso's wingman. Some Alonso haters have conceded that he matured. Well, maybe the same has happened for Massa. I wouldn't mind.
