I was wondering what it would take to get that running again. Of course it depends considerably on whether it was salt water and how deep & long.

The last couple are parts cars. And since f car parts are dipped in gold, that may make them good buys.

Or...a generator off a jet engine. So, why not a blender off the goofy 308 motor?

It's for sale currently in Arlington, TX.

No affiliation, just thought I'd pass it along even if this might be posted in the wrong section.

Nice looking 8. If doesn't need a ton of work, that's a great price. I also like it in black, as it blends in the black bumpers.

Last line of description: "It also comes with propane tanks for racing". I'm not sure what that means, but the photos do show that both front and rear trunks are indeed chock full of propane tanks.

    Good day All,

I found this ad... There are not too many pics and some are blurry, but it does not look too bad for an asking of $13500...

    Cheers,

Wow what butchery. They should save the car and "part out" the owner.

This "355 tribute" GT4 was on discussed here on Fchat when it was listed (on ebay?) last year. It received the expected level of derision. I guess a hurricane may have been the only way to get any money for it. Still, someone put a lot of time and work into it.

All of these flooded cars, such as the 308 with turbo setup, painted targa top and the compressed (or Euro, or whatever) bumpers, sure are depressing. It was clearly loved, possibly by a fellow member, but couldn't be saved. I guess that's more spare parts for mine...
