I'm curious if anyone has seen several colors of the F12 in person and can offer any comparison between them? I'm ordering my F12 tomorrow, and am still torn between yellow, red (Berlinetta), gloss black, and metallic black. I've seen the F12 in person in its signature metallic red, but no other colors, but perhaps one of you well-traveled gents have seen it in the other colors?

Haven't seen one in either color but would go with a metallic (Nero Daytona). If yellow, go with the triple layer yellow, would really make an amazing F12. The flat yellow and black wouldn't do the lines justice in my opinion. Had a 599 in Nero Daytona, amazing.

I'm certainly thinking of Giallo Tristrato; our 458 Spider is that color and it's spectacular.

what color is your 16M? You have a nice collection going, if you don't have Nero Daytona, I would highly consider that for the F12. Highly. Nero Daytona with Cuoio or Rosso interior (no contrast stitching) would be really something.

    The 16M is below.

I really like the metallic black on the 458. I've not seen it on the F12 and it's hard to read in pictures. Decisions, decisions...

(and yah, I love the Cuoio interior)

Have to agree its a great choice. My 599 GTB was Nero Daytona / Cuoio Daytona Seats with Black Inserts. Really a stunning combination and hard to beat.

    err, no.

worst color for that car. I still can't believe they used it as a launch color.

I love silver but I wouldn't do the matte finish. I want to see one in Argento.

Of the three you have mentioned I recommend staying with red. The car just does not look good in yellow (the 458 looks great in it). And black tends to wash out the complex body swoops and structures, leaving the basic form (which is actually quite classic).

There are several reds, in addition to the Rosso Berlinetta, that you can choose from to create your distinctive look.

Grigio Silverstone/Ferro/Titano..........Bordeaux....Cuoio.interior..All the exterior colors mentioned will really show off the beautiful lines of the F12 IMO..

A difficult one. The Matt silver is beautiful as I saw it at the factory but admitted by them to be a nightmare to maintain. The darker colours seem to lose the lines completely. I was thinking of a blue Pozzi but concerned as the black cars I saw did not look good, especially flat black. Yellow is for the brave and to me does not suit the car. I come back to Grigio Titanium as a compromise.

This is the first Ferrari since the f355 to look really good in yellow, imo.

Rosso Barchetta is kinda the Blu Pozzi of red; might suit the car well.

I've seen quite a few of them at the factory and I think the non-metallic colours don't look good. The worst in my opinion was yellow. To me it looked best in Argento Nurburgring, Grigio Titanio and perhaps stretch to Silverstone. I actually like Rosso Berlinetta but haven't seen it in any other reds. The blues and black didn't do anything for me. The lighter metallics really show off the lines.

Also saw matte aluminium which looked very good but according to the factory guys it's a very difficult finish to maintain. If you do the atelier at the factory to spec your car you'll see everything and make a decision based on better info - your own eyes.

Definately not yellow, probably the worst choice for a front engine GT. Out of those choices, black is the best by far IMO.
