Sorry. I was confused with the 2007 for sale at Ferrari of SEATTLE (not Washington) which has 5,000 miles. Totally different car than the one you were referencing.

Since when is 17,000 miles high mileage? Ridiculous Ferrari BS

I know. Mileage issues on new F cars is SUCH crap... but people freak out about it.

At least it is a good opportunity for some people to get into the cars when they otherwise couldn't due to pricing.

I love this car!!! I can give you at least 2 other references from F Chat who have seen the car in person. We have black floor mats for the car that break up the red carpet nicely. The clutch on this car is only 10% worn.

I am a big fan of Scuderia Red, we can switch the tubi exhaust for oem if you like. If you taking the car into Canada, the owners of the company are originally from Winnipeg and we can help get the car across the boarder....

Let me know if I can help!

I too, have seen this car and I agree with all that Ed stated. I'm not a spider guy, but I was completely in love with the car from the visual standpoint..&..it is amazing in person. I looked at the pix on the CNC web page...they don't do it justice. I think you need pix in the 5 Mb range to accurately depict the colors. Everything pops beautifully on this car, especially when its outside in natural light. Its showroom fresh.

CNC is a family owned/run dealership which holds honor and integrity as primary values. They enjoy a great reputation in the community. (The preceding testimonial was from an actual customer and not a paid actor :))

Good luck in your quest. 430's are great cars and a great supercar value. Further, when you see one, you know instantly that you love it.

I believe in all honesty, most can't say the same about the subsequent model which is more of an acquired taste, even for those of us (like me) who eventually fall in love with them. It took me quite a while to appreciate the 458 looks. Not so with the 430. The 430's attraction is easy, instant and enduring.

    Yes this interior is stunning. It will be more challenging to care for as it ages. The two key issues will likely be;

    1. Caring for, repairing, or coloring, black leather without discoloring the red stitching
    2. Because of the red and back leather on the same components (seats, door panels) the components will have to be disassembled for any re-dye in the future. This disassembly is easy, its the reassembly and still look good when its 15 years old that will be the challenge.

But it looks good now, so maybe worrying about the future puts us right back in the "whats wrong with dating a model..." topic. Live for today.

Thx also a Mini owner I see ;)

    Trent,
Do you really think the stitching will discolour? It is made of nylon and is strong and full color (=to the core).
Maintenance is the key. Use good products and it will last a lifetime. Also climate in Holland (sunsine) is not like yours/Italian unfortunately...:(
I think two tone interiors are the future (look at other brands and you will notice the change) and will last. Classic interiors will be there fore ever. "Modern" classics types can handle modern interiors in the future (becomming classics). Do I make sence?

My issue is not so much the red thread and its color integrity when exposed to conditioners and elements, but the black leather and its eventual need for re-dye [ complete or touch up ], and in either case the dye will either get on the red thread making it no longer red, or will not be applied evenly over the seat. Either way making it harder to keep looking great. I have cared for Ferrari leather for 2 years now and even same colored stitching is tough and requires care.

My second point is where the red leather meets the black leather. It will be hard to touch up either at the seams without a complete disassembly. Will they need to be touched up? yes. even my 2006 430 has been touched up pre-purchase on the bolster. I have already bought dye, so I wont flinch to keep it spotless.

The sun and elements differ by geography, but the wear is significantly related to butt-meets-bolster/seat.

I love Utrecht best, nice small college town. Holland is one of the few places I would live and is quite beautiful, but my lack of Dutch and family ties will prevent that. Also the short summers would likely be a negative for this sun lover.

I can see what you mean however leather can be fed using colourless shampo. Where the red meets the black (centre seats) it is installed on velcro and easy te remove. Not the case at the door panels but some maskingtape can do miracles...

You have been to Holland? The only thing I have against it: every thing is artificial. every square feet is taken care of/has purpose. Remember we have no mountains (not 1) and are dense/crowded with 16,5 milj people inside an area as a midsized lake in the states...
Fine rates has increased again because of this crowded life.
    Wrong parking $380. Speeding 20miles=$500. No insurance=$1800,-. Horn inside city/village border=$280, telefoon (not handsfree)= $420.

In short: stay where you are, I am comming over :D

Trust me, do not settle on something you can live with. Especially a Ferrari. Just hold off and wait. I almost purchased a 360 spyder that was just 10 miles away. It had Chrome wheels (which I can change easily) and black color interior I was going to settle for. Now, don't get me wrong, the black looks good, but just not for me. At times you can get very anxious, like I did.

JUST HOLD OFF UNTIL YOU GET EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT? REMEMBER, YOUR SPENDING 6 FIGURES

Can someone give me some help reading this autocheck. The link to the car has an autocheck button to click. Or anyone in the Dallas area that knows this car??

This is the lemon car, what impact does it have with a title Lemon to it? And in the US, having a Lien Reported, does that mean the owner missed a payment and the dealer took it back on them? So it's up to the dealer to sort out the lien?

In Dec, I'm going to fly down to see this car.

    Pro
Lots of CF everywhere -steering wheel, F1 paddles, engine compartment
Challenge-style carbon fiber rear segment (love the look)
Not sure who makes the black rims, (again I like it, some maybe don't)
All black interior with red stitching (i like the look, maybe others don't)

    Con / Pro maybe?
The low price makes it seem to good to be true.
Exterior says Corsa, but it looks like Scuderia. I like both colors, need to see in person.

I don't know if I should start a new post with the 2 cars I have narrowed down. Too bad they don't let you edit the first posts. (at least I haven't figured it out)

I believe the lemon in the title means the car was returned to the dealer under the lemon laws -- meaning, there was a defect in the car the manufacturer could not address after a certain number of attempts. You obviously need to check on what the defect was, and whether the defect was corrected.

The lien in the title generally means the prior owner financed the car, and the lender had a lien on the car. Once the loan is paid off, the owner can get a clean title. The seller should obtain a clean title for you before you move forward with the deal.

    Good luck!
