Thanks! It's an English car, one that lives in Kent. If we get to know each other better, wouldn't mind letting you drive the E-type cos I need someone to jaga her lah. Am thinking to bring her back to Singapore or KL next year after the long trip but it doesn't have aircon!

The Mille Miglia is simply awesome. Words alone cannot describe it, I started a thread on it but gave up with updating. Imagine thousands of people lining up the streets to cheer you on from day to midnights, from villages to Rome. It's epic; the mountains & valleys are so beautiful especially Tuscany which is romantic. They say 4million people watches it every year.

I'm hoping to do MM next May but looks like the Ferrari Tribute is out (knew it would happen) or do the 50th Lambo anniversary Italy drive in May as well. Then, have the guys trailer the E-type over & I'll drive it back to UK. So, it's probably mid-late May 2013 & would be an honour to have kakis along.

Btw, there's so many supercars in Monaco that Ferraris are like taxis :D You must visit, the winding route there alone is wonderful.

no, Remy is correct......it is the only unreg car around our region... i heard there was an offer of up to RM10M or 11M recently from a collector from Japan recently which was rejected......

Doesn't make sense. There's plenty of used Enzos for sale starting from £675,000 which is about RM3.3mil while ex Jenson Button's is asking for £1,000,000 about Rm5M with just 1300km on it.

Anyway, sometimes a collector's item can be difficult to value.

In 2008 it has price tag on the windscreen about RM6.8 million after rm60K discount...maybe this one is different unit with Dato' Mokhzani's....

Well & we haven't add up US + EU. The FXXs are also on the market for a while now.

It's a pity, these cars should be driven to enjoy.

    hello all,

i've been an avid reader of this forum for a while but never really posted anything. i am slowly moving back to malaysia where i'll be based out of and thus spending most of my time. i have decided to bring back some of my cars with me but i have a few questions that i hope fellow msian exotics owners can help me with:

    1. are there any shops you would trust in the event you need to touch up the paint on your factory-painted matte grey or matte black?

    2. what's the rule of thumb to calculate insurance premiums for exotics? if you dont mind, how much do you pay and what is your sum insured? I understand also in Malaysia you have to buy the full year's insurance when you renew your road tax, so i guess there arent any options for you to buy coverage only for the days you are taking the car on the road?

    3. would be great if you can PM me contacts of insurance agents that specialize in exotics if any

your help is much appreciated! thanks in advance.

i wished i had a better explanation for this....but this was told by the sales manager at the showroom when i popped in from time to time to be in the airconditioning on hot afternoons while my car was at the back in the workshop! maybe the fact that its unreg has that much more "value" in it?!!! i don't know!!! somehow garage queens have more value in the eyes of collectors from what i'v read and seen..... boils down to the same notion/mentality of one wanting a virgin or the college s**t to take back home to your parents, even though the latter would be that much better in bed!!!

Hey bro, nice 348 there. Looks like you could use some spacers to improve holding. My ex348 had challenge upgrade with shorter gearing (losing top end) & wider rear track but I never had a chance to really push it.

Good to see you using her!

No worries Tako, just glad to have had the opportunity to photograph it and that the owner didn't mind. Congratulations to them on a beautiful Ferrari, and thanks again for bringing it out and sharing it with the world.

Very nice! Don't worry it's better than no pix :)

If you feel alright then leave them alone. Do you do alignment in Ipoh, Penang or KL? I have a spare set of stock brakes & will be happy to give u but u must come Singapore to collect :p

Think I fitted TarOx 4 pot fronts back then & still have some parts lying around. kekeke

Oh my.... This is GREAT NEWS! Does this mean that we could see some P1s being ordered and brought in to Malaysia soon? A local launch would be damn sweet bro.

I must say that I wasn't really taken with the P1's looks at first sight. But after a few weeks of studying the P1, analyzing and understanding the thinking, genius and philosophy behind it, and getting to know why it's designed and made the way it is, I must say that I really love it!

With all due respect to all the other past and current supercars, P1 is going to be a major revolution and game-changer. People talk about supercars of the future all the time, well this is it. The P1 and the thinking behind it is still going to look futuristic and revolutionary even 20 or 30 years into the future from now, just like the F1 that came before it.

What do you guys think of it? And are any of you planning to get one?

    haha true.....thanks mate!

well i have not touched the alignment settings yet as of today since I got her...i'v done wheel balancing in Ipoh (which can be done in most tyre shops actually)....however I did change my tyres after Sepang at a tyre centre in Sunway (i felt the rear twitchy on the wet areas of the track and they were '09s)......the tyre shop guys told me to not mess with the alignment if it has been good prior to that......however if I am to get the alignment adjusted, there is where I will be going from now onwards.....

however in regards to the spacers, what you told me did get me thinking......the car has been solid on general roads, however at the tight bends on the track, i did realise the crossover point from understeer to oversteer is a very thin line......but this was prob also due to the wet conditions and my tyres not being perfect......i need to experiment with the new tyres and if it still is like that, might have to consider spacers for the front.....
