    Great writeups. Thanks for sharing. Do we need to add some anti-seize to the speed sensor threads prior to replacement?

    Great job but don't you find that those Ferrari rads are cheap and flimsy? Not to mention that they cost 1000$ each.

    I had mine replaced with an aftermarket all-alumium saldana rad for the exact same price.

    Good post Miles. I just installed a new LH radiator in my 95 F355 a few weeks ago so the process you outlined was VERY familiar to me. As you said, the working space is very tight and therefore I had to walk away from the project a few times, just to maintain my sanity. But overall, the project went well and my car has never run better. I looked into replacing the OEM plastic/metal radiator with an all aluminum type, but was told that it would require some modifications to fit properly (and it cost almost $400 more). I must have missed the one that was mentioned for the same price. Thanks again for the informative thread though.

    Thanks for the replies. Yes, I should have probably put some anti-seize on the sensor, but didn't. Oh well. Next time I'm in there, perhaps.

    Regarding aftermarket radiators...yes they're probably more robust, but I do sometimes concours the car and try to keep it original, which may also help with resale value whenever that day comes. That's why I also have stock brakes.

    Wouldn't hurt, but I have never had trouble removing one on my previous 308 and 328, nor my current 355.

    I understand about the concours but isn't the radiator hidden from view? would they actually notice it?

    If you're curious, here are some pics of the Saldana radiator....definetly sexier than the OEM one from Ferrari IMO

    Any physical modifications you had to make on the aluminum one Fab?

    My mechanic installed it but I doubt any mods were necessary. I bought it at Euroquipe for approx. 1100$ shipping included.

    Same price as oem but all aluminium. The Ferrari one looks like a cheap toy.
