Hello to the 348 brotherhood! I am in need of help/guidance. I have a small leak from my clutch master cylinder (found the very small leak when installing the dead pedal & heel/toe gas pedal from Ricambi/Hill Eng.). Anybody know where to either get a replacement for a 1995 348 spider? or if there is a know fix to solve this issue? Thanks for any help you can provide a newbie still learning the ropes of Ferrari ownership.

I will give him a call tomorrow. Thanks for the info. Where in Maryland are you? I went to college at Salisbury State College (now university) & grew up in northern Delaware with a family weekend place in Ocean City, MD.

i am in the northeastern part of the state in harford county.until fourth grade i lived in salisbury on hammond street.delaware is a great place.my wife and i built a house near rehoboth beach over 20 years ago and was the smartest thing we ever did.will be our retirement home.either we have money to live there and move down or sell it so we can retire.i hate the stock market.it made everyone rich but me.enjoy your car.the one thing i have found in the short period of time that i have owned a ferrari is that if you don't like crowds or questions buy a ford.happy trails

Small world. I lived on Hazel Ave about 1 mile north of the campus for my college fun. The closed block party's were great. Delaware shore has increased in value significantly, glad you are riding that wave!

master cylinder isn't too hard to install, but I found getting the fluid going was tricky. Hopefully yours will be easy but if not try this: I bench bled the unit beforehand, but it didn't seem to help much. I believe the fluid supply to the clutch master cylinder comes off the main resevoir fairly high up, so keep that topped up. My final trick to get the fluid pumping was, with the unit installed, but the hose to the slave cylinder not hooked up; have someone push in the clutch pedal, then with your finger block the port that the hose to the slave cylinder threads into. Then have your assistant release the pedal. Take your finger off the port, have them push in again etc etc until you get a good squirt out that port, then hook up the hose and bleed back at the slave cylinder. Just remember that that damn fluid ruins everything it touches.
