How do you know your ABS mod is bad? Did the stealership scan it? I have an airbag light on and was wonder if theres a good scanner to buy for home use for Ferraris?

    Thanks.

Abs unit needs to be diagnosed by sd2 scanner or Leonardo. it's either the abs unit or a the pump unit. if its the motor then Audi part can be used. abs-asr unit is ferrari only. u can buy it used..

Curt, is it correct it is a Ferrari part only? I have an ABS issue with my car and looked into this quite a bit but I thought it was a standard Bosch 5.3 unit.

I'll defer to your knowledge and be interested that if it is a Ferrari bespoke unit would that cause issues with running 19" (430 or CS) wheels/tyres?

I looked into it and couldn't find a comparable unit. The launch control in the unit brakes the rear wheels as well as manages the abs and brake proportioning. The Bosch part # Search I I'd yielded no equal part. To maintain proper handling dynamics I went with the proper and obnoxiously expensive part.

The sd2 will tell you if a wheel sensor is bad, or the abs unit or pump..as well in one of the hubs. Get it scanned and take it from there... Many use 19 inch wheels on their cars without issue..
