This looks like 62 cars. I understand the BMW club is interested in participating but I have not heard anything from them. Chris can you get the waggon master to call me or e-mail me. Thanks. I will complete the notes on the maps either tonight or tomorrow night. Maps will be printed Fri. AM. If you want to go and you want a map I need to know your intention.

That puts us at about 66 cars. I will probably print 75 maps on Friday AM unless I hear from several more people.

We are now at 78 cars and growing by the day. Carl J. at RAC says they may have 12 cars to add to the list so we may hit 100 yet. It will be great weather, a great cause and all of the kiddos will appreciate all of the fun you had in donating the toys.:)

Please add me to the list plus a navigator. The Testarossa has been moved to Dallas from Austin and this will be our first event with your group.

I have had a bit of a scheduling problem so I will not print maps until tomorrow afternoon. If you wish to participate in this years 8th Annual FCA-DFW Toy Run then post your intention on this thread or contact me [email protected]. I will check everything prior to the printing of the paperwork.

As of this count we have 96 cars and a whole lot of people. Because of a couple of lights we will probably launch in groups of 10 every 5 minutes. SO IF YOU WANT TO GO AS A GROUP--get your folks together and then tell me so I can put you guys together. Jim E. has already put a group together and we will launch his group first because of some prior commitments later in the day. Because of the size we will have to launch the first group at 9:30 sharp, Driver's meeting 9:15 sharp. So please try to get there early so we can facilitate the launch of the cars.:)

    Hi Don,

    I am a friend of Nicola C. "98R648" and Kimson N. "Maximim 810".

I sent you an email earlier from [email protected] but have not received a response. I'm sure you are very busy, just wanted to make sure you got my car count for my group.

Thanks so much for orchestrating this event for such a good cause! We are really looking forward to it!

Below is my count as of now. Just in case my email went to your "junk" folder. We would like to go off in the same group if at all possible.

Milt IV, Gray C6 Corvette Grand Sport
    Nicola C., Black BMW M3
Kimson N., White MKIV Toyota Supra
Eric T., Red C5 FRC Corvette
Greg T., Black 5th gen. Roush Mustang
    Austin S., Red C6 Corvette
    Ray A., Silver 5th gen. Camaro 630hp
    Mark N., Silver C5 Z06 Corvette

Thanks again for all that you have done for this event!!!

    Richard S. 7(adding '02 Viggen and a bimmer) cars +11 folks.

My car will probably be the most un-detailed there, lol. I show property in it on a daily basis and it's been a busy month with our very healthy DFW real estate market. The dealer did run it through the wash for me this afternoon.

AWESOME drive as always. Maybe even better than usual. The roads were good to great and the weather was perfect. My group only had a couple of slow moving roadblocks and we were able to get around them pretty quickly. The main group was me, my frend Rob in his CTS-V, lilviv in his 550 and Wade in his 355. We had a few others for a while, I saw a silver FF in my rear view a few times, but I think he had to stop for a latte and a scone ;).

THANK you Don and Carolyn for your efforts. We had a great time and some kids get a better holiday. Quite a few kids from the looks of it. I have a few pictures I'll try to post later.

We had a super ride and drive today on the FCA DFW toy run. There was a terrific group of cars, drivers, navigators, passengers, kids, and dogs. We enjoyed the roads, small towns, and dinner with friends.

Thanks to FCA DFW President Don R. and First Lady Carolyn for setting up the starting place, planning, checking, and double checking the route, printing the maps, heads up on the DRS, setting up the charities, and arranging the dinner location. I think it was great. That was a lot of work and we appreciate you.

Big thanks to Don and Carolyn for organizing this, really feel honored to be apart of this event. We had a blast (black Subaru WRX STI) even though we were the last people to leave (bathroom break at the start) & got hung up at some lights, but caught up with the group rather quickly. Here's a few photos & thanks to all that donated & participated.

Thanks Will for the pics, am glad Frances made us get the "old timers" together for a pic. Glad you got a shot of the 275 and the 330 together. Greg arrived after I'd gone in to eat and I didn't see them together. The 275 was amazing.

A big thanks to Don and Carolyn for their hard work in organizing this amazing event. I'm sure many kids had a better Christmas thanks to Don, Carolyn, and all of the other organizers. This was my first time to go and I had a lot of fun.

One of the coolest parts of the run was as the yellow testarossa in front of me passed a farm, a horse started galloping around and prancing a little. He seemed excited to hear the 12 cylinders singing! It was the craziest thing I've seen relating to Ferraris.

That 275 was amazing. It was a pleasant suprise for sure.

The array of cars that showed up this year was incredible. There were Ferraris, Lamborghinis. NSXs, HHRs, SSRs, Corvettes, BMWs, Saabs, Camaros, Aston Martins and too many others to remember and list. As carolyn and I were packing up after the last group was launched a fellow came out of Panera Bread and said what was that all about. I told him what the event was about and he responded, "There must have been 3 million dollars worth of cars in the parking lot and I haven't seen that many Ferraris in my life." I suspect he was correct about the number if you did not include the 275GTB4! It was an amazing array.

To all of you that attended this years run--many thanks! Carolyn and I appreciate the kind words but really the accolades all go to you guys. You guys are some of the most amazing people I have ever met and your generosity is overwhelming. There were going to be many many kiddos that were not going to have much of a Christmas until you guys strolled into the picture. The donation was huge--God Bless all of you and to all of you a very Merry Christmas.

Is there a secret to viewing the full size images? I can get the thumbnails, but not the big ones.

Sorry not sure why it isn't working for you. I click the link and I'm brought to the thumbnail gallery, then the thumbnail is clickable. Maybe the site had server issues? I can re-host
