Having looked through Ricambi's catalogs, these bars will fit my 328. I'm in for a pair.

One question before I call on Monday and place an order:

From those who have changed these bars, is the front bar easily changed or do you have to disassemble half the car to change it?

    Thanks,
    Doug

Just remove the front tires, end links and the two rubber/poly bushings, then slide it from either side. Pretty much reverse for installing the new bar.

I called and threw my hat in the ring.

Larger bars generally have no downside, unless, and i don't think we drive our cars on bad roads, you drive on uneven potholed or bumpy roads, then heavier bars car transmit unwanted antiroll forces to the opposite wheel, causing the car to waddle. Uniform pavement dips do not cause this, but a bunch of staggered pots holes would make the car act funky.

I have driven similar weight cars with much, much heavier sway bars than the 25/22MM pair, and never had any complaints.

The adjustability on the rear bars should be able to help one tune the car for either neutral, understeer, or over steer, depending on how close to neutral the car is with stock bars.

I am in. John has 9 now on his list. He said he will probably go ahead and put the orders in since he is close.

Could you let me know an email address for these guys? I think that even with (sea) freight to Australia, it would still be a good buy - but I'd need to arrange it with them.

    If so, I'm in, too!

    Hi Patrick.

I don't have an email address for them, but you can make contact via their website at: http://www.addco.net/aftermarket/sales-contact/

I hope you can join in! If we were to find another 10 folks there would be a price drop for all.

I *might* be in for a set, even though I don't currently have a 3x8. If it can get to 20, that would confirm it for me.

    I just spoke with John.

Only 9 people have called in, but he's still going to start the production run.

If you're planning to buy one, you should call in today to be part of the current production run. 800-338-7015

Not to worry, I will be #10 in about 10 minutes! Just spoke with Ernie and ordered. He mentions that they will begin the run right after Christmas which is okay because they wouldn't fit in the stocking anyway right? Thanks Matt, great effort and thanks to all who got in this and made it possible.

Can't wait for these to arrive. Our next step will be to compare new performance levels with these bars in place.

Unfortunately, I'll be one of the last to install, given that my car has a blown head gasket and is on its way to a rebuild at the moment.

I will be curious what diff the new bars make. I will make sure I go for a drive with the old bars just prior to installing the new ones.

Have to out town in mid Jan fora week, so may not be able to get them on before then, depends on when they show up. It looks like a fairly painless, simple install, which would be a first for this car, though the clutch is better than most to change.

Just called and anted up for a set. John is out of the office, but there was another gent who took my order. He wasn't 100% sure as John is keeping track of things, but it sounds like we have 11 or 12 guys so far and he mentioned that they should be producing them in the next few weeks.

Thanks again to Matt for taking the lead and to all the other guys for providing feedback. Much appreciated.
