Not that I remember, I was wondering around killing time while the girlfriend was off doing real estate showings in the Gold Coast. Obviously I had to go hit the Sprinkles cupcake ATM too!
I think Delage's are some of the most gorgeous cars around, I hope they're able to move forward without many hiccups. Any idea on how long this restoration will take? There has to be some experts out there that would die to work on this project!
Not for the faint of heart. You need a patience of a saint and a very, very thick wallet before attempting any serious project like that.
Indeed. At the rate they're going, it looks like it's going to take 10! Thank God there is someone out there willing to do it!
No idea. Here some shots. As in the case with the Delage, they have two of the Alfas. Identical chassis types but very different bodies. Both ground up restorations. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yep thats a 1947 2500 with Pininfarina body(special nose and grill). If the other 2500 is like the photo on the wall it is also by Pininfarina circa 1940. Those are very expensive cars to restore as they were all hand made.
