This event was a nightmare for spectators (I'm sure the entrants had fun!) since the dumb organisers hadn't 'organised' anything. Access was from the bottom of the hill only and of course most people just propped where the action was (at the bottom) meaning the top 2/3 was empty and the bottom was impassable. I spent an hour out there and didn't even see a kart! Hint organisers: make one side 'up' and one side 'down' next time! In contrast the CCCHK show was excellent. I know it must seem a bit mean keeping the public out but seeing the conduct of even the invited guests (people leaning in, on the cars; girls draping themselves over the paintwork; kids trying out the door handles etc!?!?!?!) it's no wonder... Shame not to see any older Ferrari apart from the 365 (which I'm wondering if it's an ex Australian car seeing the recent first registration and knowing a similar one was sold in that time frame) and the 2 very nice Dinos. Well done by everyone though, the cars were nicely presented and I like the 'running' rule for the judged cars.
was quite surprised to see some of them actually running like the 1933 Fiat thingy...which was actually properly registered...
Kerrari the 365 GTC is indeed an Aussie car. I have a photo of it somewhere with the original NSW (iirc) plates on it. I will dig it out for you. I actually found the original seller through doing some research on the web and sent them the photo. Some more pics from the day... .......big,long sigh.....it's a 1967 365GT 2+2,probably the first sold in Aussie and,(I think) the Sydney motor show car or first right hand drive or something along those lines. Interestingly, this car spent nearly 2 birthday's at a Sydney dealer for sale. The owner put it up on our local carpoint internet site,it was gone in 2 weeks! The 365 GTC is an entirely different car, apart from the engine. Transaxle, strictly 2 seater,IRS and probably worth,in real world $s 4-5 times the 365GT 2+2 price. Pedantic....well yes,it is FERRARI chat, after all. You're not having a very good week at the hands of the Aussies' at the moment,eh Rupert?!?!
Actually I was the one who mis-named the 365 as a GTC! No mistaking the Fiat 'thingy' though - gorgeous little Balilla!
I'm British, I'm here to to bashed by the Aussie's when they get one over on us but it's not often that happens, so I'll allow you the gloating. Funnily enough, that's how originally labelled it a year or so ago and here are the pics... http://www.flickr.com/photos/48817379@N03/6469361961/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/48817379@N03/6469362037/in/photostream/ Nice info on the car, Simon!

Very grateful indeed!
Hi everyone, Does anyone know where to get a PPI for a Ferrari in Hong Kong? I'm checking out some cars and IMSS said they don't offer this service if its a private sale. Thanks!

Damn, that Inter is nice. Just the two Daytona Spyders then...? Wonder if either of them are factory.
I must admit I'm surprised to hear that. You can try SPS in Kowloon Bay. They're reasonably knowledgeable.
Amazing that someone would paint this car purple and bling the console with diamonds but we are in China! Cheers, Greg Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Blimey! That's, er... different. Speaking of which... Toyota Chaser by Rupert Procter, on Flickr Toyota Chaser by Rupert Procter, on Flickr
Looks like a piece of the bonnet found its way to the door too. Maybe Daimler-Benz should employ the owner as a consultant to their design team. I'm sure she knows better than them about aerodynamics and cooling.
