    Thank you Mark.
Yes this was the photo. You can clearly see three separate openings. A big rectangular one (assuming cooling radiators) a small rectangular one on bottom (probably brakes) and then the big awkward shaped intake. I don't know what it is for on the P1 and I don't care right now. But what I was getting at was, that the new Enzo may have a similar arrangement with intake for active aero, under the coolers on its side that we saw on the engine bay pictures. Some sort of air flow manipulation that would compensate for the lack of wing. If it doesn't have some sort pop-up-wing like the P1 that is.
And since the car has such pronounced V shapes front and rear, I would think that if they have the body get slim right behind the doors on the bottom it would hint at the F1 coke bottle shape even tho the car is with fenders.

True. Don't know why I didn't think of that. I'm probably wrong with my idea.

Don't you think it's a bit too tiny to be an exhaust?
The car will most likely get the 4 exhaust pipes layout à la F12berlinetta I think.

don't like it, Enzo design was a revolution, this is just copying and mixing different styles, it will be fast and technically advanced but how this car looks is step back in design :(
Enzo have F1 nose to distinguish this car,
front of F70 is just like in any other hypercar

On the engine bay mule pictures, what caught my eye was how the exhaust were totally different diameter on the two pipes on each side. So is it possible the opening in the middle to be some sort of "extra" exhaust pipe, like the middle one on the Italia? I know they are all V8, but all the racing efforts 430/458 have only two pipes. The four exhaust pipes on todays Ferraris are more of a styling tradition, rather than necessity, no? If Ferrari is braking away from Pininfarina and introducing a new "styling era" (like with the Enzo) it would make sense in a way, to go to two big pipes on each side.

Rather harsh words, considering there is not much to see on these pictures. Basically all we can tell is that the car will have two creases in the roof and two round stoplights.
Considering that people on here who have seen the car say it is strikingly different and a fresh direction for Ferrari, makes me think you have not seen it. So how can you make a statement if you like something or not if you have no idea what it would actually look like.

Having looked at this image more closely, it is clear as I initially postured that this is going to follow an evolution of an LMP1 car with exaggerated wheel enclosure.

    Hmmmm... http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=141528645&postcount=165 ;)

Don't see a 550ish scoop as much as I do two deep side channels that accommodate the flying bridge along the front wheels (transitioning into a very low door pivot/hinge). The front might also incorporate some form of sharknose/430 homage?

Also, I think the roof (doors) will include another channel that will flow into the B-pillar/engine cover. It's only been glimpsed once but it was very attractive and structurally hard to eliminate (hence why I think panels were fabricated to cover it up in Paris).

I wonder if Jim is pleased with the way P4/5 has influenced the rear end of this design?

Oh yes, you said it and I would be OWNED big time :D I still hope lights sweep backwards in a distinct shape, though obviously related to the current range. It just can't be THAT straightforward, exact FF units as seen on the mule, it would be very disappointing for me.

Rear looks good BTW!!! Fenders seem to integrate the intake over the wheels, rising the rear view which seemed so low in the mule... Overall I think it will not be an ugly car, though very LMP-like as it's been commented.

Speaking of the chassis shown in Paris, I never shared the images I took of it despite offering to do so.

All my images from the Ferrari stand at Paris are on Flickr and start within the album at this photo and end with a shot of the F12's engine compartment at image 'DSC7865' with a couple of FIATs and Alfas mixed in as well.

There are a large number of shots of the 'F150' bare chassis - some close up for detail, others trying to capture the shape from different angles. They're uploaded at 1232x816, but if anyone is super crazy to see some of them in higher resolution I can supply that on request via PM. :)

Didn't see this one coming

How exactly do you think the P4/5 has influenced this new design? Be specific.

Good job. To me it looks like the headlights are unique and not the same as the FF or F12
