Good question. A fuel quick disconnect? Maybe a way to splice in fuel pressure gauge to then tweek/monitor fuel pressures when car on dyno? Maybe a way to bleed off a fuel sample in post race impound to check compliance with fuel type regulation? I have seen something similar in line with fuel cells where a similar looking fitting is frangible so in a big collision it breaks away not spilling a drop of fuel preventing a fire. Those are my WAGs.

Possibly a quick disconnect? Like stated would be real easy to put a inline pressure gauge in the rear really quick. I have no idea :)

There are a lot of challenge parts that should not be on a race car.

Why not just use a leech on the fuel bladder?

Because you want the sample clearly coming from the fuel rail near injectors so that creative geniuses don't have a fuel sample from where they want and yet rocket fuel to the motor. cheating is very sofisticated.

We had to cheat all the time back when our Porsche's had to run Union76 fuel in the 24/12 endurance races in the USA.
We had a small tank hidden that used a fuel boost additive.....if they checked the fuel cell it never showed up.

Wreck!? I did not know. I hope you are recovering well and that you had fun up until that point in whatever you were doing at the time. I always have fun wheel to wheel racing until....that's why THEY don't let me drive the 358 on track.

A roll cage always seems to make a convenient tank for additional supplies of questionable liquids.
