    Hey Everyone,

I have a 348 which has an issue when starting in the morning. Upon the first crank it start for 1 second then stalls immediately. If you crank it again it then runs rough for 2-3 seconds and then its perfect....absolutely faultless infact.
If you turn it off and start it again is perfect for 99% of the starts for the rest of the day.

My first thought is a lack of fuel pressure and its only pumping the fuel up to the rails when its cranking. Is there a common problem with a check valve etc??

I have tried searching but cant seem to locate anyone with the same fault as this... everyone else seems to be running rough all the time

The car is faultless apart from this..

Hoping one of you may be able to point me in the right direction.

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers,
    Aus348

Try turning the key to position II for a moment before hitting "Start" to let the fuel pump come to pressure. Maybe you have something in the system that's letting the fuel pressure leak down. If that doesn't help, the problem is probably somewhere else.
