With help from fellow F-chatters, I purchase my '09 Aston Martin Vantage several months ago. Never got around to posting any photos, so here is one from this weekend's drive. She had 911 miles when I got her. We are now just under 3,200 and my love is nowhere near fading. Thanks to everyone on this forum for the input.

Great looking car. I was actually looking at the vantages on eBay today.

Best of luck with it. I think the car is well suited as a convertible.

Congrats and welcome to the club!
Isn't it such a beauty to look at?
I daily drive my DBS to work and it's an event every time I open the door, sit in the seat and start the engine.

Agreed, it is an event!!! Though it is not my DD, I drive it at least once a week and seeing that Power Beauty Soul each time I press the starter always brings a smile. And the sound of this car cannot be beat. The only problems I have are those pesky speed limits. ;)

How is the structural integrity of the convertible? Is their cowl shake like on the DB9?

I have not had any problems. She is sure footed and rock solid. They only shake I have is the crystal ashtray rattling when I hit a bump!!!!

Zero problems with my 07 Vantage. Rock solid, and a treat to drive.

(P.S. Changing out the brake pads from OEM to Porterfield was a critical change however, as the dust was driving my bonkers. Now, with the Porterfield's there is basically no dust and its a breeze to keep clean)

I have a 2009 also. I have had the car for 2 years and have had zero issues. Just two oil changes/checks.

The Aston is more comfortable than my four previous Porsche 911s. Visibility is not as good but not distracting.

Very nice, Troy. Those are the best wheel they make too, IMO.

I love the look of the convertable Vantage. I actually prefer it over the DB and was looking at them on Ebay just last night.

Enjoy it on the open roads! :)

I agree. ;). I had the inside of the wheels color coated just to provide some contrast. Ryan, any suggestions on where to drive?
