Looking for some quick feedback here. What would y'all say would be top actual transaction price for a PRISTINE 355?

For sake of discussion let's say car is 1995, red GTB, 15K miles, just had major by official dealer, no problems, no stickies, LITERALLY appears new. I have not seen many this nice available in my recent memory.

Most of the other cars I've looked at recently have needed a major, had a few cosmetic nitpicks, higher miles, etc, so have been more of the "mid-range" type cars. Asking prices are all over the board as usual, so what are the REALLY NICE 355's actually trading for these days?

    Thanks guys!

Spin the wheel..... and it landed on, $75k. Just a guess. If it was a 98,99 with 5K miles it would be worth more than the one you describe.

Here we go again! :). 95 would get the premium in my book, but that's not the point of this thread...

    I think between 75-80k. + 25k more if it were white. ;)

Funny, I always heard white carried a $50K premium at minimum?!? :)

Thanks for the feedback so far guys!

I purchased a 95 spider, 11,000 miles and mint as you describe (though not a coupe) and paid $72K 4 years ago. I'd like to think currently with 15K miles it is still worth $65K+

the car you described, probably high 60's to low 70's.

Just got mine evaluated at around 15k miles. totally restored (including headers, exhaust, sticky all done), now in mint condition (95 spider).

    Evaluator tagged it at 70k

All sounds about right to me. Probably the biggest negative on the car I am looking at is that it is still on the original headers. No leaks, but I have to assume that those will have to be replaced in the not too distant future. I would probably just do it out of precaution.

Also has never had valve or valve guide work....on one hand I guess that can be a positive, but on the other I would almost rather see a car that had a problem and then the correct repair has already been done.

Hey, not because I think 98,99's are more valuable... just what the overall market thinks right now.

I have a hard time with these “what is it worth” questions.

The bottom line it’s worth what someone will pay… Until then it’s worthless.

    Me too.

I'm just trying to figure out what I'm willing to pay!! Ferrari purchases being educated, non-emotional decisions and all that....

    ;)

I did feel a little bad for starting one of these threads, honestly.

+355, I would be really nervous if buying a low mileage 355 that has not had the guides done.

To clarify my original statement, My 95 spider did have the valves done, but I still have the original headers, (fingers crossed)

I'd love to see data of 5 in the last year that sold for 75k. During my watch, I've not seen one.

I've not see one in the past year, period, at any price. My guess is $75k buys said car. I wouldn't be suprised at $70k, but if I was a betting man I would be more inclined to say $75k.

Also, the 355 market has thinned out and strenghtened over the past year.

Have you been looking at that car Dave?

FoA have a 95 GTB with 15k miles, just had a major (I know coz I was there when it was being done), for under $70k.

I've seen others as well but I've yet to see one at $75k in well over a year. The silver one on eBay appears to be very nice and they have it listed on autotrader IIRC for $64,500 and that asking price. It a later model GTB, 6 speed.

Nothing, just showing examples of what I've been seeing. The silver one is really nice but I could only buy silver if a could afford 2 or 3... :)
