I would appreciate any restaurant recommendations in the greater Denver/Boulder/Ft Collins area where you feel comfortable parking your Fcar, or where for a little extra tip the valet will let you self park and keep an eye on it for you. It does not have to be upscale, just has to have good food. I don't necessarily have to be watching my car the whole time, just want to minimize the chances of someone screwing with it.

    Thanks,

    RPM

No valet service but I enjoy the Runway Grill at the JeffCo Airport. Plenty of room and nobody messes with your car.

I have no problems at either Shanahan's or Elway's (Cherry Creek) allowing the valet to park. Very good food at both.

Pay the $20.00 and park in the public lot adjacient to the Denver Chop House. You can pick your spot and be reasonably safe. Oh, and the food and atmosphere are terrific. You could try the valets; they deal with alot of concerned owners on a daily basis.

Del Frisco's on I-25 & Orchard Rd, great steak but you can't see your car while eating and last time the valet guy didn't allow me to park my car myself.

Those are all stuffy restaurants, good but stuffy. Is that what you're looking for? Elway's Cherry Creek would not be a valet choice either. Elway's in the Ritz has better valets that you can trust. Just my opinion.

Parma Trattoria was a place the club went in Louisville. Good food, visible parking and nice atmosphere.

It doesn't have to be an upscale restaurant. It can be a hole in the wall as long as the food is good and I can feel comfortable about taking my Fcar there.

Did you offer the valet a larger tip up front?

PS I really enjoy your photos. They are awesome. Thanks for posting them. Also, I think I saw a picture of my 599 GTB when it was on the showroom floor at FoD.

Yes, I told him I'll tip extra and there was a spot right in front next to the curb. I worried he might curb my wheels or my front lip.

What color is your 599? The grey with tan interior one?

Parma is really good. It is the best Italian restaurant on the front range, IMO.

I take my car anywhere I can see it. It's been everywhere from Chipotle to Shanahans. Other than one occasion when the valet lied to me, I never let anyone park it. Most places have no problem with my parking it myself.

One thing about Parma: the owners are car nuts. They always check out the cars in the lot. If someone spent too much time sniffing around your Ferrari in the parking lot, the chef would be out there with a wooden spoon faster than you would be.

Trust+valets=oxymoron. People just can't help themselves once they slide (slither?) behind the wheel!!! NEVER let one near your car. Never.

I have never had an issue with the valets I have used. Tip them well and establish appropriate ground rules.

Do most of these restaurants participate in restaurant week? I am guessing the well known ones are already booked up.

Nice! That color suits the 599 well. Ferrari owners should be able to valet their own cars and park in the front.
