hang around the forum a few weeks and you will know who to listen to and who to ignore, I don't think we need anything else. I know whose answers to a post I make sure to read and whose post to read and ignore, its pretty obvious after a short time here.

I just put every member in my ignore list so I only read my own posts. It really lifts my spirits knowing I'm always right.

    Agreed.

I understand where your coming from, but I don't see ownership as a fantastic qualifier of knowledge. Certainly there some very knowledgeable owners here, I would never discount that fact, but honestly sometimes I see things posted by owners on this site and it makes me wonder if they're just making up 'facts' as they go along. The same can be said for kids or enthusiasts here, just look at the 'F70' thread there are some users in that thread posting nothing but bad photoshops and wandering conjecture, just 'noise', as you so well put it. I would never claim to have all the answers, one's information is only as good as the source of said information. However, it is people like that drove away or irritated many actual experts. To me the only way to properly judge someone's words or the quality there in, is to listen more than one speaks. I think that if new users really want to learn from the experts they will figure out who to listen to and who ignore. I know I have and I learn something all the time on this site. Just my 2 cents.

Post count is NO indication of knowledge nor is ownership, there are people on this forum with 30,000+++ posts & Ferrari ownership, that I wouldn't count on to tell me how to fill up the wiper washer reservoir correctly...Mark

Well I went back and read his first post more carefully and perhaps this is his gist.

So while I thought he meant people with Ferrari knowledge in general, not even solely mechanical/repair, it appears that he even more specifically means people with the inside scoop on new models. That seems a very limited reason for creating a special title.

Well the rumor is he is going to Elkhart Lake for the FCA National.

Come on up and we'll run up his tab. I have a pretty good handle on the local pubs.

Cool beans. Hmm, Google is my friend. The land of dumb blonds and beer on -- Wednesday July 31 – Sunday August 4, 2013. You know, that might be doable. That just might be doable. Are you going?

I have watched the video on filling the washer fluid three times and I still don't get it.
This must be a high tech procedure.
    Love it.
Thanks guys for all the contributions on Fchat

The newest upcoming yet-to-be-seen method for refilling washer fluid is avant garde. You'll be amazed.

    This board needs some frills.

A "Like" button or "+/- reputation" option would be a good start.

I'll think about it. Lot of changes in my life going on right now, but I have always enjoyed the FCA meets. Much more low key than Monterrey or Cavallino.

We all vote for the experts. The top 40 in a blind vote give each other points on a system. Those results become the published.

Of course it appears to me that those that I recognize spend less time and have shorter and shorter entries. Not sure they'd want to go through the effort.
