Is anyone heading to Maranello for the unveiling in February?
Throwing out a quick and super informal invite. A couple of south bay car guys I am friends with are getting out of the house Sat AM and meeting at Baji's In Mountain View at ~8:30. Not many people or cars, but hopefully a good bit of car talk. Would be glad to meet any of you that want to come by. Pm me or just show up Nathan
It was good, just a casual breakfast among car guys. Seven of us I think it was, and some nice Ferrari's. I didn't take any pic's.
Picked up my car thursday from John at SF Motorsports. Replaced ECU, rear wheel bearing and new set of tires. Drove up to Yountville sat for lunch and out to the beach on sun ran great. I am happy to have her back. See you sat. Gavin
Might be able to get it, but I did learn that there is no Clienti program at Sonoma -- at all. Further, Laguna is not on the schedule.
Congrats! Remember that new tires don't develop their full grip until after several hundred miles, so be careful. Ironically, they break in faster when driven in the wet, as what's going on is you are getting rid of the mold release compound that comes from manufacturing.
Must be why my tires wore out so fast. Took them directly to Sonoma after I bought them and never ever drive in the wet.
So saddened to have just learned that we lost our FOG brother, Peter Euteneuer, a man passionate about all things Ferrari, and just an all around great guy. I will miss his gregarious nature. Rest in peace, Peter.
I am deeply saddened. I had breakfast with Peter on Sunday morning. We had a great drive with friends and amazing conversation. My deepest condolences to Peter's family. You will be missed Peter, rest in peace.
What a shame to hear of Peter's passing. I was talking with him only a few weeks ago about a magazine article featuring his 550. He was very excited about his new 458, and happy about the prospect of taking it out with the FOG group. Very kind and thoughtful guy. RIP.
