At least a little bit. Just noticing asking prices are coming up compared to where they were 8 months ago. Anyone else noticing this?

Good for me, just bought one. :)
    Short report from Europe:
Prises in Scandinavia is stable. Krona in Norway and in Sweden are strong compared to Euro.
Prises in Germany are on the way down, same in Italy as long as the car isn´t red.
Prices in Spain, Portugal and in Greece are dropping quite rapidly.
And now to something completely different: Prices in the UK are high and slowly increasing.
That´s all for now, Folks! Back to you in da States. :-D

    is it just wishful thinking?

on the long run prices will be on the up for good original cars, but it will take some time.
remember the 308 prices are now on the up for a year or two.
i own my 348 spider for more than 12 years now and the price was very stable since then.
selling it now (what i will not do) will bring almost zero depreciation.

I have been watching them as I was thinking of selling. I can't see what they "really" sell for but I can see that the prices asked are pretty stable. I see a long sales cycle and not selling quickly but that coudl just be the normal sales cycle of a 348 as all I have to compare was my 308 sale and that was listed and sold in a week or ten days, guess I sold too low....

i was in the market for 1 year now and finally bought my car 1 month ago.

all the theories you hear are sometimes not founded..

I lost 3 cars due to higher bids,

3 red tan tb under 20000 miles = sold within a month . All at these fancy car dealerships.
    42-47 k .

i just bought mine at 38500$ from a fantastic 1 owner gentleman who had health issues and wanted to let go of his baby. the car has 11000 miles, tubi, crazy expensive wheels and needs a major. i tried to negociate but he had 4 others waiting in line. I live in Canada where the good ones sell easy for 45-50k, 2 sold in toronto not to long ago that were impeccable. the 60 km 348 sell for about 40-45k , the nicer ones more.

When I started my search there were 7 348 TB for sale 1 year ago. Today only a black one is lefted at 45 k , from that original batch, I called them all including a nice fellow called CHris on this board who sold I think for 45 k.

The theories of low 30s for a decent 348 are not true, not in my experience anyway and I looked hard and long to find my car .

    Hope this helps from Canada

Like the line - Monty Python fan or just coincidence?

Anyway, asking prices have definitely gone up over the last year or so here. It's a small market so individual car prices can skew it a bit but when I went looking 18 months ago the top of the market was one car at £30k with most falling between £25k and £20k. Now there's one at £40k and a few in the mid 30s before you drop below the £30k mark.

In fact a quick scan through our biggest online sales place for Ferraris (has most of them on there) gives you an average asking price of £29,800 and it's obviously still winter. 18 months ago during the summer it was nearer £23k. Be interested to see what the prices do over this coming summer.

Interesting but not that relevant for my car - she's not going anywhere. :)
