Hey guys: Just got a couple red/tan 1:18 Ferrari 360 Modena Diecast Models and decide to work its interior (with spray paints) to be more like my 360. Yes, I'm bored and thought I could entertain some of you Ferrari fans w/ this post. Will keep you guys updated. Stay Tuned. JIMMY www.Jimmy540i.com Here is the one which has been taken apart (bottom) Vs. the untouched one (top):
Hee... Hee.. thanks man. Too bad the Die-Cast are missing the following: - "FERRARI SCUDERIA" SHIELDS - UPGRADED MODULAR WHEELS - ALL STITCHINGS IN COLOUR (RED) - DEDICATION PLATE IN SLIVER - FERRARI F1 WORLD CHAMPION PLATE BUT... I will try my best to make the following possilbe: - BLACK DAYTONA STYLE SEATS (CAN'T DO THE RED STITCHED INSERTS) - SPECIAL REQUESTED RED CARPETS - SPECIAL REQUESTED RED LOWER DASH PANEL Will start on the project tomorrow. =)
I would say, put this stuff aside, and go out and make $ and be productive. But I already know the toys you got, so you are already blinging in the bank accounts, and have tons of free time. Haha, go to vegas, meet some hot chicks
HOT DAMN! Want to adopt me??? I will lick your tires of your bikes and cars clean. LMAO BTW LOVE the red carpet in the 360! Absolutely stunning!
yup have pics of both let me know which one you want to see or if you want me to just post here. *dont want to hijack your thread without your permission*
The smileys, I just add them and did not get in the post anywhere. first 2 pics is my 1998 SRAD 750. Bought used with 4500 miles, ,currently has 26K miles on it, and runs beautifully. First pic is the day after I bought it. Second pic has the rear fender modified right before i put a euro tail on it. Notice missing fender and shaved signal lights. Third pic is my 2003 750. It has 3700 miles on it. Have been wanting a 748/996 and was very close to buying brand new 2002 model from the floor at Ducati of Seattle last year, but they were not willing to deal. Cannot get myself to like the 999's at all. So stuck with the gixxers currently. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
your interior is probably just how I would have mine...how much bigger a compliment is there I would get a black exterior though.
Lafun2: Nice Bikes man! Personaly I don't like the 999, so I choose to stick with my 2 996s. Here is the link: http://www.jimmy540i.com/ducati.htm I will update my Mono in the website soon. Here is a pic of my 996 Biposto:
Thanks. The bikes are ok. They aren't Duc's man! Anyways, when I am down south you can usually find me riding on Lattigo canyon, and am at the Rockstore on sundays. I also sometimes on Wed nights go down to the Newport beach area..usually 100-150 bikers meet up. WHile up north, I ride the Lake Berryessa (Napa Valley route mostly) Hey who knows, maybe in the next year or two, you will get tired of one of your bikes, and sell me one If not, will have to get the new R1 Thanks again for the kind words man. I should come down this summer and check out your Duc in person sometime BTW how many miles you got on your mono and Bi? I am never sure if I like red or yellow better. HMM. Tough choices. Oh and what camera do you use? I dont have a digi cam, always have to borrow my friends, which is a pain. Was set on buying the Canon g5 the other day, but went and saw it in person, and it is too bulky and no pocketability. Thinking of picking up the new Nikon 5400/5700 (?? forgot which one) when it comes out. Its a 5MP and small enough to carry around. THoughts from the ultimate baller?
The hot wheel cars have the modular wheels, at least on the spider version. Maybe you can make them fit.
Jimmy, I looked at your website and see we have very similar taste in Ferraris, BMW's and Ducatis. 99 360 F1, '01 M5, '02 Ducati 998R. '04 R1 on the way. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
