That's exactly what I have: A7 under a 10 foot ceiling. Love it.

What? Then why did you post pics working on the car sitting on the ground? Don't you use the $7K lift? LOL

BTW, how thick is your floor and did you install yourself?

Sorry J, I just looked your pics over again and see the car was on the lift.

When we built, we planned to do a lift. I found the A7 first, then went to the builder with the specs and he put the slab in. It was pretty thick. When they came to install it, the guy was getting ready to drill the holes and made a comment about how "they always say it's as thick as it's supposed to be, but it seldom is." He was pretty surprised when ours was right!

For suspension work, it's easier to work down low. You'll find you raise and lower it all the time, which is the big benefit. For instance, if I am changing the oil, I first put it all the way up, pull the underbody stuff and crack the drain plugs loose. Then I set it almost down on the pan so it doesn't go everywhere and open the plugs. Once drained, I put the plugs in finger tight and crank it back up high to put everything back in comfort.

Over the last three years or so, the lift has had something on it for probably 8 months. Sometimes things just hang on it while I piddle. I love the thing!!!

I've looked all over the net for a lift that is similar to the Mohawk and I can't find one (to my surprise). I spoke with them yesterday and got a better price than what I found originally - so, I'll be ordering it soon.

Well, I put this off for a while since I had other stuff going on.

I just ordered the Mohawk A7 today and hopefully will get the installation going next weekend.
