I'm only judging the pieces available in the video. I'm still hoping that it will sound a lot better in the flesh but sadly I don't think it will. My judgement for the time being is based on said video and this spy video.

huyara's sound is matching very good the sytle of the car...the hole story with the wind theme....

 

What's the deal with the blue LEDs after red? It's like Spinal Tap: "yah, but this guitar goes to 11!"

 

Music to my ears.

 

LEDs on modern Formula One car steering wheels go from Green to Red to Blue. Blue LEDs are generally regarded as the brightest.

That's the "Cool-O-Meter"...to let you know when you're cool. (some of their customers are never quite sure)

 

So let me get this straight, you are asking us to compare a car that has not even been released yet (P1) to a Carrera GT that has aftermarket exhaust and who knows what else done to it?

Never mind apples to oranges, you're not even comparing fruit.

 

do you really believe that P1 will have good exhaust sound? How they do it? Fact are simple: modern turbocharged cars sounds bad, mclaren mp4-12c sounds bad, P1 will have the same engine so what do you expect?

"Good" is a relative term. I heard an MP4-12C this weekend that sounded REALLY good. I'm not sure if it was aftermarket, but I'm sure it still had turbochargers on it.

An un-muffled F40 sounds spectacular to me. To others maybe not.

Have you heard any of the new AMG Mercedes? They use turbochargers and they sound awesome (to me). I don't know how they get them to sound like American muscle cars from the 60's and 70's, but they do.

What's funny to me is that these cars are not even out yet and people are assuming it's going to sound a certain way. Can we at least wait until they come out before we pass judgement on them?

 

ok, I will wait with judgment but this will be long waiting I hope to see P1 and F70 in Saint Tropez or Monaco ... maybe in summer 2014

The rendering in the public setting (The FACTORY!) is nice.

I wouldn't mind it one bit if the tires came with white letters on the sidewall. VERY racy looking!!
