There is also an 84QV GTS on craigslist Phoenix thats been listed for quite some time, grey with red interior 71k? On odo. Asking $22,000 IIRC.
Bodyshop special - who wants to learn welding and lead-work? Here is your learning platform. A lot of sweat equity could turn this around.... The scary-expensive stuff is in the engine-bay. If compression/leakdown are good, you might have something....
Just another lesson in How Bad It Can Get. I'm sorry to see any Ferrari rot. They're asking ridiculous money, IMHO.
I think this might go into the "Understatement of the Month" catagory. Maybe of the year. Sad to see what obviously started out as a beautiful car, chopped up into a pile of scrap. The ad says the asking $16.5K. Even that seems high for what's left. RIP, formerly beautiful car.
Not enough left there to even part out. If anyone talks to him I'll give $25 for the shift knob if it isn't cracked. Shift gate is a few bucks also. After that....melt it down.
Set of wheels/bolts bumpers 2 doors with glass/trim Hood looks okay Rear spoiler rear hatch But yea, it's thinning down...
Nice catch on the knob and gate.. Someone has a sense of humor, check out the Blue Dot on one of the wheels!
Insert heavy sarcasm ->>...But it does have a "Lifetime K&N air filter." Everyone knows that's good for an extra 50 hp, so I'm in for $75 as long as Brian doesn't get the shift knob first.
You want TRX wheels? Can't give them away. I have a set here taking up room. Come by and I'll help you load them. L/R rear corner of hood is bent. I got money the doors are rusty. Rear spoiler is worth a few dollars, your right Rear hatch is a very very low demand item. Same with US bumpers. Adds up to about how much it would cost to tow it here and all that is only after you convince the owner that it isn't worth five figures. Ted has a pretty sharp eye for parts cars and I bet he had a good laugh over his morning coffee at this one.
That'll be the spare. The original probably broke when it went over the curb and into the tree. Then there is the frame and suspension damage it suffered.
Actually 7 No joke. Mike C and I pulled several dyno runs and verified this back in 06. It was about as clear cut as it could be, too. There is even a thread about it here in the archives. So there is the quandary - do you want to keep **** out of your motor with a paper filter or do you want that neck-snapping 7 extra horses?
You could put a big hunk of foam on the back window. That would protect your noggin and vertebrae! Might need one of Pauls diffs though.
