He's a very cool, down to earth guy. Have met and spoken to him a few times at track events here in Miami , very accessable.

Absolutely. I had the privilege of being one of his photographers at Sebring when Foyt and Wolleck were driving.

How can you not like this guy? He is very friendly and drives his cars. And he has straight pipes on both his Daytona Spider and his Enzo..and both on slicks.

He was supposed to bring his 275 Speciale to the Concours on Sat but i guess he changed his mind.

Driving behind him during the 275 Ferrari tour was fantastic,,,until you realize you lost your hearing,,from the loud noise of the Speciale!
He had a very nice Daytona competition too, shared with his daughter who ultimately drove under the Miss Budweiser banner. A real programme!

Everybody else has already said it, but I have been privilaged to call Preston a friend for over 30 years. What a wonderful man, a straight shooter, good driver and real Ferrari supporter. He made his own money the old fashion way, by working hard. He plays just as hard.

My late Father J.W. Denton grew up with Preston back in the 1940's, and they tore up these mountain roads. This is a photo of Preston on the left, Middle Bob Wollock, my Dad on the right. This is from Daytona in maybe 1984 not sure. My dad started racing in 1957 and retired in 1967. In 1966 he won the SCCA championship in H modified "Beach", like a small Lola the photos shows how it looked. Started out in Abarth's in the early 50's and bought Team Roosevelt in 1960. Only one of the cars was a twincam. Racing was in their blood.

Preston just emailed a copy last night of the CNN report. The man really knows how to have fun, but as a kid he was always into having the best time.

I told him to pick out a formula one race, and we would test out this little plane, see if was fast enough.
