Anyone have a picture of Enzo next to a 308 / 328?

I have an original print and I don't recall seeing an English type name on it. The back is all stamped up with a photo company from Modena, they did all of the Ferarri photography. Maybe he bought the copyright.

 

This is a common thing with vintage photography. Depending on the collection of photos, and what they are of (sometimes regardless of the quality of the photographer), these collections trade for 10's of thousands of dollars, and even more.

 

I don't have a picture of Enzo with a 308, but I'm sure you've all seen this poster.

To the guys looking into prints - I would be interested as well.

 

I went to Bob's website and could not find the print. I would send him a message as well but don't want to overload him. Let him know there is some interest from multiple parties.

Not yet. I have tons of posters and prints of ONLY 308's that I have collected over the past 32 years and no two are alike. A few years ago I started rolling them up, putting them in cylinders and storing them away. There are several of these containers but I have them spread around my office, two houses and one big outside storage shed.

But everyone has my word that I am still looking.

Thanks for your note about the Enzo Ferrrari photo. I'm travelling at the moment and haven't the time right now for a detailed response. Briefly -- please understand my site is not configured for print sales and I don't have a quick-and-easy way to process orders, payment receipts, shipping, etc.

A few questions:

Can you tell me what print sizes you and the others are interested in?

Would all prints be handled as a single order?

Would all prints be sent to one address, as one shipment?
I should return to Daytona Beach by the end of the week and will be able to respond further at that time.

I haven't replied to Bob yet, however before I do, let me explain that I can't be responsible for handling & distributing multiple orders. Since there would be duty issues going back & forth across he border, it would not be cost effective and I just don't have the time. Why he is not set up to process sales on line is baffling. I will ask him again for pricing, sizing, and the acceptable method of individual ordering & payment.
Any other suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks - he hasn't responded to me yet. I can help coordinate if it would be easier. Also my parents are in Daytona Beach for a few weeks; if needed maybe they can meet him.

Seems like standard poster size is 24 x 36. Easy to find frames as well. Glad to see that Bob responded. Sounds like he can print to order so find out if there are quantity discounts for single order. The other option is to send electronically and have them printed yourself if he will grant permission.

I noticed the print was taken in December 1987. My Rosso Corsa 328 was manufactured in November 1987. Who knows?

 

One hour from Detroit/Windsor border. A little town of 400 people called Erieau.


Are you sure that you would want the task of collecting money and distribution?

thanks for the size. I'll contact Bob for the best method of ordering. To have them sent electronically sounds like the best method and we could choose our own size from the local printshop. I wonder how he would prevent multiple prints from the downloaded image ?

Not sure how much of the print is tucked under the edge of the frame but the part visible is about 17 1/2 X 20

Thanks for moving this forward. I might be able to help with a group buy. Maybe we (I) can create some kind of PayPal account. Edit, I see Wolfgang has raised his hand. We can work together to make this work.

First things first. We (with Bob) need to figure out a price. And then, with that price, we need to make a list of people who are interested. Maybe we start with a certain price and see how many people bite on it. $50? $75? $100? Less?
